Beautiful. I had been wanting one of these since our trip to Turkey and Greece. I loved seeing the men sit at parks, cafes and sidewalks playing backgammon. I bought this for my husband for Christmas. He loves it. It has helped pass the time during the pandemic by giving us something else to do other than watch TV. I did purchase separately the dice shakers. I recommend doing this as it completes the set nicely.I highly recommend this game board!

Details are just not there. Mine came with the pieces rolling around in the board… No bag to hold/store them in. No dice cups. No double down dice. And the normal dice that they include in the set, Well, I’ve never seen dice so small in my life! Trust me, if you’re over 30, or hell, if you are simply human, you will not be able to comfortably read these days, and will most likely need to use your own dice, or buy a set for this! Don’t get me wrong, it’s a pretty board, but it’s just not of quality. I was expecting this beautifully carved board to come, and instead, when I opened up the box it smelled like paint thinner/shellac, and I had to set it outside to air out. There is also no place to store the pieces when you are finishing up a game, and no closing latch for the board to stay shut if you are traveling with it. If I had to do it again, I would probably not buy this one.

This was a gift so I have not seen it or used it yet. However the recipient really loves it.
