i purchased this zephyr combo for polish the wheels of my pick up and i am very satisfied, is my first test with this products and maybe i need more practice, but undoubtedly this is the best way for polish the aluminiun.

I’m going to call this a second cut, if you’re doing a three stage polish. You could use it as a finishing wheel if you’re not after that “finished” glass gloss. It lays down a beautiful polished finish when paired with the right polish. If you don’t have one, buy yourself an airway rake, 2 inch shaft extension for your polisher, and a nice full face respirator. These are not made to run on a 10,000+ rpm grinder! Aside of the danger of running them that fast, the fibers don’t have a chance to flex against the work piece and you’ll be chasing your tail trying to get nice polish. Slow, steady, medium pressure and use the rake to keep the polish from caking! Cheers!

High speed polishing.

This polishing wheel should work very well on harder metals for a high shine. However, if you want to polish copper you'll need a cotton wheel with less aggressive compound.
