Kipling CLAS SEOUL School Backpack, 45 cm, 25 liters, Black (Lively Black)

This is a great backpack, lots of space for all your bits and pieces as well as laptop & books. It's marketed as a school bag but I bought it for travelling-it's a good size for weekend trips. I would say it's probably a bit expensive for a school bag, especially given that nowadays kids want a new one each semester.The straps are comfortable, even when the bag is stuffed full.It withstands a good British downpour, but I'm not sure how long it would hold up for in torrential rain before eventually soaking in, as the fabric is a treated canvas rather than technical waterproofing.The colour (yellow) is lovely but already it has a few marks on it, I imagine if used at school it would get dirty very quickly! Time will tell how durable this is but it seems good quality and pretty heavy duty.One thing to note is the zips- they like to rattle a lot when walking, letting everyone know you're coming 😂It's also useful having a double zip on the main pocket, however the smaller compartment could have done with that as well.I think the only other thing they could improve on this bag is a separate water bottle pocket on the side.UPDATE**-washed it once on a lukewarm delicate machine cycle (with no spin) and the white printed logo is starting to unstick. Probably best to hand sponge only if (when) it gets dirty.The metal on the zips has also worn/chipped off, revealing the base metal underneath; and there's parts of the lining that look a bit frayed.. So, it's not the most durable, However the straps and bag stitching are still in good condition, and it will probably last a while for everyday use.

Not at all like the picture they use to sell it.. I have quite a few Kipling bags and have always served me well.. this one has great zips, the size was good, loads of pockets, but the pocket on the top of the bag by the carry handle is useless, anything you put in it makes the bag too heavy and it flops down.. the yellow colour is more like that mustard colour that’s everywhere atm... apart from these 2 complaints if you like a large floppy mustard yellow backpack, then this is for you! Seller was great and very quick refund given.

Love this bag use it all the time for everyday use and on short over night stays
