To start off, let's just say when I first used this I had a bush and it did not work well. The way this product works is that it melts your hair in to a goo. If you have a sensetive area it might sting a but, but it is not the end of the world (have some A&D ointment ready) Follow the instructions! Apply LIBERALLY. You want to put on a thick glob, not just a light amount. The hair needs to be COVERED to completely melt it. It also takes about 8 minutes to completely melt, so if you get it in a place you don't want it, you can clean it off before it does any "damage". Since the hair turns to a goo, it is very sticky and the best way I found was a wet washcloth to get the sticky hair off because it WILL stick to your skin. I also got some of this on my "head" by accident and it didn't irritate it at all. MAKE SURE that you do a small test on an area close before using this to make sure you don't have a reaction. Otherwise, works great in 8 minutes, easy to clean up and wipe off, and leaves you nice and smooth

I hate my body hair. It’s patchy (except my arms and legs where I look like a Sasquatch) and it’s greying so I’ve got this super awesome inverted V of salt and pepper chest hair with extra emphasis at the tips. It low level bothers me. Last year I saw a picture of myself in shorts and was determined to correct this biological and evolutionary deficiency. I explored getting waxed, sugared, or just constantly shaving all of me. Decided I wasn’t super keep on spending an hour a week in the shower shaving, I’m allergic to pain so waxing was out, and I’m also allergic to spending $300+ to get sugared. I’d resigned myself, once again, to living with it. Until last Thursday night. I was surfing Amazon for anything that would be interesting to have. Went back to the front page and it was showing me ads for Nair for Men. Bored, I went down a research hole and landed on this oproduct that’s designed for junkal areas (because I’m still allergic to pain). Decided $15 was better than $300 for a test and ordered it. Tuesday, I’m holding the box in my hands and reading the instructions. Do a patch test. Smart. I’ll do that. Worked fine, no issues. No burning, no itching, seems good. The instructions tell me that I should wait 72 hours before reapplying to the same area, so I waited until this morning. My boss is out on PTO so I’ve got no one to pester me. I engage my auto-clicking app so the dirty snitches on my team can’t see that I’m not doing anything work related, head into the bathroom and get to work. First a shower, as instructed, followed by drying off and getting a damp washcloth prepared. Since there weren’t any issues for the patch test, I determine that my chest should be the first spot. And that happy trail that somehow keeps spreading around and is now radiating like a solar corona from my belly button. I open the tube and start applying it. Chest. Happy Trail. Belly Button Corona. And armpits, because that hair is super gross. I wait the 6-8 minutes and start wiping hair off. It’s a success!!! There’s a couple splotchy parts happening in the Belly Corona area because I didn’t apply it evenly or something. Chest hair starts to come off pretty easily. This is great! I just saved $285! And then the washcloth brushes my nipple. Holy. Crap! It turns out, you’re not supposed to put hair removal creams on your nipples. There’s pain. Lots of pain. So I finish with the washcloth and read quickly while my nipples are on fire that I should rinse off with cool to warm water. I jump back in the shower. The water splashing on them hurts. Direct water is even worse. I get out and pat myself dry, which is a stabbing pain each time I do it. I rush into my office wearing only some sweatpants and google “How to treat chemical burns on nipples”, a phrase I never thought I’d have to type. I then message wife with my morning adventure to let her know that I’m sitting in my office, topless, with the blinds closed and a mountain of aloe vera gel on each of my nipples. It’s been 6 hours. My nipples are still hard and they’re still hairy, though less than they were. Breathing is causing my shirt to rub against them resulting in more pain. But hey. My armpits are silky smooth. So I’ll probably try it again for the rest of the parts. Just not my nipples again.

Everything about this product is a sham. Sure it will remove the hair but no better than a razor would and when the instructions here say 6-9 minutes while the box says 3-6 something wrong. This is the most painful experience I've had in a long time. I started with a few patch tests on various areas like my face, leg neck and groin. And all of those showed no signs of agitation a 6 minutes so I tried the scraper and NOTHING came off. So since there wasn't any irritation I went for the 9 minutes and applied "a sufficient amount" to all the areas in larger patches. That did it, some hair started coming off not much though it seemed like it only worked on a few areas but definitely not my legs. But the more I removed the more it started to burn and itch and finally I gave up and decided to "neutralize it with warm water" in the shower. Let me tell you I'd soon rather stick my whole face in a fry cooker than experience what came next. My face felt like someone set off a shotgun but the BBs are on fire and my whole body is on fire and the world's on fire and everything is fire. At one point I nearly fell out of the shower from the amount of adrenaline and my body's natural shock trauma response. I wasn't in control, Jesus took the wheel while holding a flamethrower to my body. I'm making light of this situation but to sum it all up this product should be off the shelf and back in whatever WWII chemical weapons depot it came from. I just want my money back so I can pay for a therapy session to fully recover from this horrible experience.

For years I have been using a razor and shaving cream to shave my privates with. Over the years it has gotten to be tedious and I was tired of it. I looked online to see what types of creams were available for hair removal without a lot of pain. This is my first time using a product like this so take my review with a grain of salt. Opening the package there are instructions on how to use it as well as instructions on the package itself on how to use. When applying I took a quarter size squeeze and applied it to the area's that I wanted. When applying I did not feel any burning sensations or tingling as I thought would be the case. The smell of it was a pleasant smell. Not a heavy chemical smell. The instructions says leave it on for 3-6 minutes I left it on for the full 6 minutes. Others on here have left on longer but like I said before this is my first time using this product and didn't know how my skin would react to it. Once the 6 minutes was up I skipped the step of using a warm damp towel and just went straight to the bath tub to rinse off. The product and hairs came off with ease and the reviews were right when others said that the coarser hairs need more time or another application. I also used soap to make sure I got everything off. Once I was done I toweled dried off and the results are mixed. The area's that I wanted hair gone did come off but coarser hair areas did not come off as easy as you would probably need another application to do it or go to a razor and shaving cream. The reason why I gave this a 3 star review was I didn't have a lot of expectations going into it and after using it I can see how some people might find this problematic. The coarser hairs not coming off or leaving some hair behind when you've waited the full 6 minutes is annoying. Overall good experience but will this replace my razor blade? Probably not but for those time frames that I feel lazy and don't want to bother with it yes it is a good alternative.

I had never used a depilatory cream before and I was worried out of my inexperience, but this was easy to use and the results lasted until at least Friday if not Saturday (I used it on Saturday night). I am sure that results will be longer for others, I just happen to be rather hairy. It doesn't take too long (like any depilatory DO NOT keep it on for more than ten minutes without rinsing it off!). If you are unsure about using a depilatory for the first time, the formula is designed for sensitive areas, so definitely a better choice than say regular Nair, even for more usual parts of the body. The smell also goes away quickly, after rinsing. My only complaint might be that the package is not very big, and I could use more of it!
