Hard to operate
Buttons were not easy to use, too sensitive or no reaction. Could not set up initial language no matter how hard we tried. Too frustrating for kids and I. Original buttons were so much better.

Buttons defective
Very difficult to even set even the initial menu items like the name. We tried three different adults and two kids who couldn't do it. I believe the left touch button was defective. If you do go with one of these I wouldn't go with this one but pick one with physical buttons and not a touch button.

Never buy this. You'll thank me.
Product eats up batteries like they're going out of style. I'm talking 4 new batteries in 2 days. Tamagotchi often spends hours and even days with a blank screen, refusing to work. I reached out to customer service to send a replacement only to be ghosted and ignored.If you listen to any of these reviews, listen to this one. I will update if customer service responds back, but for now-DO NOT BUY IT
