The Duck Commander Collection: The Duck Commander Family / Happy, Happy, Happy / Si-cology 101

Though occasionally humorous, Happy, Happy, Happy is not a book I would recommend to kids. Even after Phil’s salvation from drugs, alcohol and infidelity, a whole lot of problems continued. Child abuse, child neglect, child abandonment, domestic violence, animal cruelty, hiding from the law, violating nature for fun and profit, and mooching off of the system, and his wife was right there the whole time. If these are good Christian values, then no thanks. I’ll stick with my mediocre Christian values with my righteous duties to help and protect kids, animals and planet earth.Si-Cology is a very sweet book, and I recommend for all ages. Uncle Si is a hoot. Though Si has suffered some pretty major health challenges and supported his family through theirs, and had served in a very nasty war, he maintains his good humor and devoted faith. A very easy read.The DC Family is a safe read with very poor editing. Its chapter on the company history is verbatim, page for page, as the Happy, Happy, Happy book. Just a thought, it’s no coincidence that the DC company became a major success around the same time Will’s extremely successful (and wealthy), corporate/investment savvy in-laws came into the picture. Having built and sold a chain of retail stores, discount warehouse stores and a publishing company (the publisher of the DC series) with major business connections and corporate experience is about the same time the DC became a major success.

Against my better judgement, I ordered this hoping it would be all three books. I saw some reviews saying it wasn't all three, even though it implies it is (picture and description), and I took the chance anyway. I just got it in the mail, and I only received "Happy, Happy, Happy". It was only $8, but I'm going to see if I can find a set and probably return this one. The quality is great, it's just not what it's described to be.

I was so excited to get this set but when it came in today I only received one of the three books. So disappointed. :(

I got these books for my son to read for the summer. He's watched Duck Dynasty on TV and really enjoyed the program. I loved the books, especially Si-cology!

Thank God for the Robertsons. Their books are an essential counterpoint to the Duck Dynasty television series. While the shows are entertainment with the smallest nod to their intelligence, integrity and generosity, the books reveal who they truly are. Having read almost all of them (I recently read Milton's Paradise Lost and Tolstoy's Anna Karenina, to keep things in perspective) I strongly recommend them. This family is wonderful.

Love the books. Sent this set to my son who is serving in the army as a SFC. He is passing them around to his troops in his quads. He has 57 soldiers under him, they will get more use than their money’s worth.

A gift for my husband which I withheld until Christmas, and he has finished one and started on another. Very entertaining according to him, and I'll be reading them too. Purchased these from Amazon at a good price for the set of 3 books. These will remain on our bookshelves since Duck Dynasty has bcome an American icon, going down as yet another part of our history. Buy them if you need light entertainment and want to know about the Robertson family!

Love DD and so does hubby. Gave him this for a gift and he was putting off opening it. When we finally tackled it, we got part of it together. Then Pepsi was spilled on the table. Some of the pieces didn't make it through. We decided to put it together anyway without the damaged pieces - that was FUN!!!

absolutely wonderful. when I purchased theses books I wondered if the enjoyment we received from the duck Dynasty programme would translate to a written form, no worries. If you enjoy Duck Dynasty you will definitely enjoy this.

Hello,I didn't know what to expect, books sometimes don't live up to the covers. This certainly did and more, there was truth tears and laughter and that is why i would recomend this to all who like the Robertson family.

Brilliant will be buying from here again.
