Reloaded: A Jason King Thriller (Jason King Series) Paperback – December 5, 2016

Although not in the exact order of publication, this is the second Jason King novel by Matt Rogers that I have completed. And I love this character that Matt Rogers has created - Jason King. I agree with other reviewers who describe Jason King as the best action hero of recent time. The character is clearly developing into a more complex and interesting protagonist with each subsequent novel. Jason has told himself that he was making a peaceful retirement on Corsica, and yet, trouble works to find him. This book introduces another Black Force operator - Slater, who is the only other BF operator that Jason has ever met, and they both are almost equally interesting. I strongly disagree with a reviewers comments that the "heroes are two psychos." I personally have met driven men like these who are highly moralistic, and have no problems "eliminating" the "bad guys" when they are just half as evil as the "bad guys from Matt Rogers' imagination. The author creates the combat/fight scenes and the tactical movement descriptions that certainly seem believable. The plot move very fast. The book is really hard to put down. I have IMPRISONED next on my bedside stand.

Jason King was retired but stumbles into a crazy situation in Corsica after an attempt on his life. Then, he runs into Will Slater and one of the most entertaining literary duos is created. Fast paced and full of action, once again Matt Rogers shows how fun action books can be. It's an entertaining book and sets the stage for 3 different series in the future.

This is the third novel I've read by Matt Rogers: Reloaded A Jason King Thriller is just that. A thrill a minute. Jason is a character who is well developed to begin with yet as I read each book he seemed to grow and show more of himself. Each character in this and the other two Jason King novels each have their own well thought out quirks and personalities which I like to see in any novel. This is one kick ass author, pardon my language please, but as good as his books are and I feel Reloaded is the best so far, Mr. Rogers will go far in the writing world as long as he stays true to his own form. There's a lot of action in Reloaded just as the first two Jason King novels, yet this one adds more. It's more in depth about Jason himself, more revealing and oh so full of action. I'd advise anyone to read this book although I would begin with Hard Impact, Isolated, Imprisoned then Reloaded. You won't regret a moment IF you enjoy action, with a cool tough guy,

I wish I had read this book first in the series. It answers a lot of questions about Jason King's personal life.

Very well written and chocked with suspense throughout and a lot of action. Rogers is an excellent writer who grabs his reader's attention and holds it in all his novels.

Putting King and Slater together is brilliant to overcome all odds. Plenty of nonstop action and suspense to develop this story. Look forward to many more. Thanks

This book was better than the second, but I can't help saying MAKE Jason MORE PROFESSIONAL for God sake!!!!!!!!!! Take some hints from Clancy and Flynn and Thor. There is not an ounce of professional soldier in this character. You can make this character great.

I have just completed all 5 of the books in this series and absolutely couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I love the character. I sincerely believe this is the next Jason Bourne series. Cant wait for the movies. When will Book 6 be out??? Cant wait to get the ending. I would have liked he character Slater to have been introduced a book or two earlier than book 4 because the interaction was perfect yin/yang between the two. I think it was Book 3 that uses he word 'baulked' a lot.....funny that I noticed that. No disrespect meant, just an observation. I highly recommend these books for everyone looking for a great new hero. Fast pace, exciting, edge of your seat and twists and turns making the ride great.

As always, non-stop action. Fast paced, thrill ride as only Matt Rogers can pull off. Really gets in the head of Jason King, who the man is, what makes him tick. I'd give it 10 stars.

As usual with these books I haven't been able to put the book down since I picked it up! Non stop action and adventure as always!

Jason King is in Corsica, owned an affluent bunglow and a bar. But his peaceful life turns awry when his former employer sends their top operative, Will Slater, to kill him. It's followed by pages and pages of action which I keep skipping because they weren't adding anything to the story. Then like Batman vs Superman they become friends and fight a common enemy, a local criminal who's doing something sinister in the island. Won't name it here as it might turn into a spoiler but it's something very unimaginative and has been done a lot. The first book in the series, Isolated, was really good but it's all downhill from there. I'm not going to give up on the series yet though and might try next after some time.

Have read them all - Jason King leads a very full life thats for sure! Waiting for more escapades
