HOWEVER - I thought i'd be able to plug in a hair straighter and my espresso machine and maybe i'm just dumb about power related items but yes it did blow the fuse in my car, however the built in power surge protector worked and protected my expensive hair straightener from damage. After replacing the blown fuse it worked great.
