It was way too small. Picture is misleading.

...this basket is TINY. Like sit on a desk top tiny. The pictures are very deceiving! It looks like a full size firewood basket but that is definitely not the case. It's cute enough that I'm keeping it and will use it for something else, but be warned that it is very small!

This basket is super cute and nicely made. It has more of a reddish / brown finish than black but it fits in perfectly with my other decor. I should have paid more attention to the dimensions before purchasing because the basket is considerably smaller than I expected. The photo with the kindling made me think it was larger, when in fact it is way too small to sit on the floor next to our fireplace.

I use this for fat pine. Sometimes they slip through the cracks, but I still love it.

This thing is very small. sending it back. from the advertisement, you would think it was much bigger.

I made the mistake of ordering before checking reviews. As others have said, the image for this item is misleading. The wood pictured must be from a craft store prop section.This is purely decorative.Pictures with measuring tape for scale.Otherwise nice product, it fits my decor and after waiting for weeks for its arrival I’m keeping it- but I’ve been bamboozled.If you have plans for firewood storage in this basket you had better be planning out a dollhouse.

We thought this would hold wood for our fireplace. We were SERIOUSLY mistaken. While it was obviously on us to look at dimensions, the photo of the wood in it is INCREDIBLY misleading.

I wish I would of read the reviews before purchasing. I bought this with the intent of using it as decorative storage to hold our birch logs by the fireplace. It is WAY smaller than I imagined. No where near big enough for branches. No other issues outside of its small size.
