This works like a dream in my backyard. It gets deep enough in the dirt that it pulls most of the weeds up by themselves. I have some larger weeds with thicker stems that it made easier to pull them up myself, as well. It's sturdy and has a nice grippy handle to it. Would definitely recommend this little tool.

I bought this to weed around my tomato plants and other vegetables. I wasn’t sure exactly what kind of weeder to purchase but this seems to work great to keep up with the tiny weeds that come up on a daily basis. You don’t have to even really pick anything out of the soil if the weeds are small enough. The size is good to get around my tomato plants that I have planted a little closer than recommended in order to fit more in. I haven’t tried to use it on more established weeds, but I imagine it would work well. The grip on the handle could be secured a little better, but I don’t think it impacts usefulness at all.

This is by far the greatest garden hand tool I have ever owned! It’s great to get into smaller areas for weeding and cleans up flowers beds quickly when you are down on your hands and knees working. Good quality and comfortable handle.

It does the job really well and I use it all the time, but the material feels a bit cheaper than I expected. Still functional and worth it for the price just not premium quality.

Love this thing! I have alot of gardens & like to keep the "trench" around them neat & clean from grass growing into them. I have the 50" on that I've used for years, but since I'm usually sitting on the ground working on my edging, this shorter one is my complete go-to. I use it edge while I'm sitting and also into the gardens to work the soil around my plants. Wouldn't be without this 14" stirrup hoe! Very durable & handy.

This is a handheld version of the full size hula hoe, which I have and use all the time. I was trying to weed my vegetable garden and was having a hard time getting the weeds loose, and it was taking too long. I got this yesterday and it only took a couple of minutes too clear the area I was fighting with last week. The size is just what I was hoping for.

Works great in my raised beds. Makes weeding easy in your raised bed. Has a nice rubber grip on the handle that's comfortable and provides a good grip even when wet and dirty. Cuts thru the weed's roots going forward or backward. Not meant for use in very heavy soils but in typical garden soil they work excellent. Because you can cut the roots 2" under the surface it makes it harder for them to grow back than just nipping them off at the surface. I hate to sound too odd, but I enjoy the sound it makes as it cuts thru the roots of any weeds in my garden.

It does work….just not quite as effective as I’d hoped. Works better in raised beds than down in the garden. I’ll keep it and use it, but probably would not buy again.

This tool is a game changer in weeding my flower bed. I've been dealing with horrible weeds that are almost impossible to pull by hand. This hoe changes that. While it doesn't get all the roots out so the weeds do grow back faster it makes weeding so quick and easy I don't mind.

Smaller than I thought ok for window boxes

Zunächst habe ich mir nicht viel erwartet, doch ich bin eines besseren belehrt worden. Positiv: Das Ding funktioniert sensationell. Geht ohne viel Aufwand in die Erde (und bei mir ist sie manchmal recht hart) und kappt jedes Grünzeug unter der Erde, dass dann liegen bleibt. Das schöne daran ist, die Erde ist etwas aufgelockert und bleibt dort wo sie ist. Man kann damit schön präzise um gewünschte Pflänzchen herum arbeiten in dem man nur eine Kante nutzt und der längere Griff ist optimal um nicht auf den Knien arbeiten zu müssen. Nicht so toll: Der Griff hat einen angenehmen Schaumgummibezug der sich bei mir sofort gelöst hat, den werde ich jedoch wieder ankleben. Die vordere Hacke ist mit zwei Schrauben+Muttern mit dem Rest befestigt. Die Schrauben sind fest angezogen aber trotzdem wackelt es sichtbar und hörbar. Was der Anwendung jedoch (bisher) nicht schadet. Dh. eine Top Erfindung! Aber an der Qualität könnte noch geschraubt werden.

Ruckzuck ist das Unkraut mit der Wurzel entfernt. griff ist schön gepolstert. für größere Flächen würde ich eins mit langem Stil empfehlen

Bought this for weeding my raised garden beds (between rows) and my large flower bed. It cut down weeding time considerably and was great to get gently between tight spaces, around flowers and between garden rows.
