Awesome watering system for small city patios
I have an 8'x6' concrete pad as a "backyard" in the city. Any gardening on the ground would consume valuable area that I just cannot spare for this to be a functional / livable usage area. These green walls were the perfect solution! I set up a grid of 4 x 4 panels and ran a hose from my spigot to the top inlets for watering. It's awesome - watering takes all of 20 seconds with very little waste water! Now my kitchen window faces a green wall instead of a brick wall! If I planted on the ground I'd barely be able to see the plants from my window!Installation is a bit tricky - specifically getting all of the irrigation adapters in place as you start to add more panels. I also noticed that some of the plastic interconnection tubes behind the panels ended up cracking over a few years of hot/cold cycles, so I had to replace them.I'd love to see the piping replaced with a more durable or flexible material so the plastic pipes don't crack from heat cycling.

Great gift for plant lovers!
Arrived in a well-packaged box. It’s a gift so I haven’t personally used it yet but will update when the recipient sends the first results. Seems well made, instructions are clear and not confusing, and has a good value for the price! Thinking of buying another one for myself with how easy and time saving it looks (but I have a ridiculously black thumb). I even compared it to other popular and similar items during my research and this one looked the most minimalistic, customizable, and efficient in many ways. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a timer or other control but they did mention that they sell that too!

Great for indoor vertical garden, with some mods
This is a cool product. It's light weight, the individual plant buckets are pretty deep so plenty of room for plant growth, and it comes with built in irrigation system that works pretty well. It looses a star for not having any directions exempt for pictures on the back of the box though, and because the irrigation system requires being hooked up to a hose. I live in an apartment so mounting it to the wall and using a hose inside wasn't an option:P So I built a freestanding support frame for cheap from 2x4s and mounted it to that, and made some basic modifications to the irrigation system. It comes with some pieces to connect several of these together, so I went to home Depot and got some 1/2inch clear tubing, a fastener to keep it from flying off, and the nice guys there helped me find some pieces to make my own makeshift mini hose. Now I have one end connected to this green wall and one end connected to a very tiny fountain pump. I either drop the fountain pump in a bucket or in my fish tank when I want to water my plants (woo! Fast water change for my tank and free fish fertilizer for my plants!) So basically it works really well for a modified vertical garden/aquaponics set up. Now I just have to mount some grow lights above it on the top of my frame and I'm golden!

Mixed feelings
Ok for starters this is a little pricey, is it cool definitely. 1) the instructions suck can you figure it out kinda. In the 3rd picture you can see a part that I still have absolutely no idea what it goes to or what it does. The whole water connection thing I'm a little worried after a while its going to rip out but over all it's so fun. 2) the construction is really good other then that those water conection part. 3) if you live in a harsh climate where it snows I'd recommend taking it down when it snows like I'm planning it's made of 80% plastic the hanging part it is metal thankfully. 4)its a little bit pain to hang it when you have more then one 5) lastly if it holds up till next year I may buy more. Thx for reading

Perfect for your non-gardener!
Where have these been all my life?! I have always grown herbs and had a garden the traditional way (in pots or in a garden bed). I love these because my husband and I travel a lot, so we're able to hook these babies up to a water source and timer...and vua-lah!!!! Plants are stayin alive! I bought 3 panels, but am going to order more and do a whole wall of the house.Update 5/23/17I bought two more panels; deck looks great!

Bought as a gift for someone. They report having difficulty with instructions. That is the only reason I gave this a 3. The pots themselves appeared substantial, not cheap.

Smaller than expected.
So far, this seems okay. It is definitely smaller than I expected. The construction quality is okay. The drip system puts out a lot of water. I turned them all the way down (they are adjustable) to avoid flooding the soil and plants. I set the timer to run just a couple minutes every day. That should provide plenty of water. The product doesn’t really come with instruction, but it did come with a bunch of different connectors for expanding the system to include other wall sections. It took a few minutes of experimenting to get water to stop pouring out of one of the expansion ports. But all seems to be in order now.
