My Favourite Brand Compression Socks
I've gone through a LOT of brands of compression socks and was told by my doctor to try brands like Jobst or go to a medical supplier. Would you believe the super expensive ones, for how much wear I put on my compression wear, lasted FAR less than these??? These are very well made, last through everything I put them through, and hold really well no matter how many washes or how bad my swelling is that day. Having the option of compression legging has helped a ton. They are quite sheer, so I always have them under something like other leggings or pants. The material isn't as flimsy or thin as a lot of compression socks brands, and they fit really well and I'm tall. My only gripe about these is getting them to fit right thighs up is a little difficult. These are more hip high than waist high most of the time and the waist band rolls a lot. For those who know compression socks though, you know these are quite common of any waist high socks. I've yet to see a waist high sock actually go waist high and the band not roll down, so I still give 5 stars and my continued loyalty to Beister. And yes, I've spread the word!

Great option for POTS and compression needs
TL;DR: Wearable compression tights: easier to get on, effective daily support, but no abdominal compression (important for POTS). Why I bought these: I rely on daily compression for circulation support (I have POTS, so thatโs extra important). Most hose are a nightmare: too hot, too hard to pull on, and they stop at the thigh creaseโforcing me to layer with an abdominal binder. Fit & Wear: - Compression level: Feels like 20โ30 mmHg. Technically I need 30โ40 mmHg, but these strike the balance of effectiveness + actually being wearable. - Footless design: Crucial for people like me who overheat easily. - Donning (putting on): Comparable to other compression hoseโstill a workout. Pro tip: use grip gloves. My method: start bare-handed, roll to the ankle, work them up evenly left/right to the thighs, then use gloves to smooth wrinkles (especially behind knees and under the glutes). - Daily use: I put them on in the morning and take them off at night. Sagging (normal for compression tights): Like all graduated compression hose, these creep toward the ankles during the day. Itโs not a defectโitโs gravity plus the way the compression is distributed. My workaround: I keep grip gloves in my bag and give them a quick pull-up every bathroom break. Comfort & Design Details: - Waistband: Elastic, not siliconeโgood news for sensitive skin. - Tagless: No scratchy tag, but that also means it can be harder to tell pairs apart in the drawer. - Brief area: No compression at the topโmakes them easier to get on, but less helpful for POTS since abdominal compression is key. - Front seam: Probably uncomfortable for people with external genitalia. - Clean packaging: Arrived neat and ready to wear. Bottom line: These tights have earned a place in my rotation. They wonโt replace higher-grade compression entirely, but for people balancing real-world wearability with medical needs, theyโre a practical option with a few quirks to know about.

Runs small
I usually wear medium size tights but went ahead and ordered a large as recommended by other reviewers. But the large size was too small, so I reordered them in XL and they fit. I have worn them twice and they seem to be well made and have a comfortable fit. They are not an extremely heavy thickness. I am 5โ 7โ tall and weigh 150# and considering ordering a second pair.

LOOOOOOOOOOVE THESE.
Iโm one of those people who reads all the reviews and compares products for three days before making a decision. Iโm 5โ7โ (I freakin shrunk!) and 255 lbs at my doctor appointment yesterday. Iโve had surgery on my right knee (karate), and my left shin (compartment syndrome), and so many knee injections Iโve lost count. I have fat thighs. And fat knees. And just for fun, I also have fibromyalgia. So knee high compression socks were good for swelling, but really painful at the knee when I have a fibro flare. So I decided to try high compression medical tights. And alas, here we are. I bought the XXL and was worried they would be too small. When I took them out of the package and they looked like they would fit my friend Brenda, who is a size 2, by the way, I was sure they wouldnโt fit. But, I took a deep breath a gave it a go. And lo and behold, they went on pretty easily and were long enough to cover half my foot and went all the way to my bra line. Shock and awe. And get this, they are comfortable! I didnโt see that coming. The first day I wore them with a skirt because I thought they would feel weird under pants. Added bonus, my tummy looked smoother and flatter. I canโt believe I hesitated to spend this much money on compression tights. So worth it. The next day I wore them under jeans and they were also comfortable. My friend Paula asked โArenโt you worried that you arenโt going to be able to get them down fast enough when you have to use the bathroom?โ And the answer is, not anymore. Easy up and down. No problem at all. There were a few times I did notice a wrinkle around my ankle or knee and smoothed them out. So when I decided I needed another pair on hand, I decided to order the XL. Donโt forget, 5โ7, 255 lbs. and the XLs are the ones Iโm wearing now in the pictures I just took. They are perfect! Also, I ordered this pair with feet. Thereโs plenty of room at the toes, and my shoe size is 9 1/2. So comfortable! Highly recommend. Just keep the size thing in mind when ordering, you probably wear a size smaller than you think.

While this product is marketed as gender neutral, it is clearly sized and designed for women.
[SIZING] - MEASURE BEFORE YOU BUY, ESPECIALLY FOR MEN. I am a 6'0" 165 lb male who typically wears a men's medium. I had to order an XL in this product to achieve the same fit I would typically expect from a men's medium. That said, the size chart is accurate, so if you have the ability to measure yourself, select the size that is closest to your measurements per the chart (not the size you typically wear). [DESIGN] - THE DESIGN IS CENTER-SEAMED ON BOTH THE FRONT AND BACK... Setting aside sizing differences, the design is clearly intended for women as there is no "cup" or other design accommodation to account for those unique male appendages we have. I found that this garment either provides too much crotch support (i.e., when pulled up into the crotch) or none at all. Even worse, there's a seem that runs from the back down under and right up the middle of crotch which can be abrasive / uncomfortable if you're not wearing anything underneath. [PERFORMANCE] - ADVERTISED COMPRESSION WAS COMPARABLE TO OTHER PRODUCTS I have no way to directly measure the graduated compression which is advertised other than by anecdotal comparison to other brands of similarly rated compression stockings. That being said, I found that the performance, when sized correctly, is as expected. This is why sizing is SO important. If you get a size which is too small, the compression is going to feel far more aggressive than advertised. The graduation is certainly real as advertised, with the ankles being the tightest and the waist being the loosest. [QUALITY] - MATERIALS ARE DURABLE BUT AT THE EXPENSE OF BEING BREATHABLE. The materials are a bit heavier and thicker than other compression stockings I've tried in the past. For instance, I've used anti-embolism stockings which are so thin you'd want to wear socks over them before putting on shoes. With these, the materials are about as thick as a crew sock but obviously more compressive than your average sock. That said, the version I bought has openings at the feet, so socks are still required for my use-case. Despite not being explicitly advertised as possible, I've been able to machine wash my garments with no issues.

Finally I donโt have to return support hose!
For once support that fits! Iโm 5โ6 210 lbs wear size 20. I bought 3X they fit me and good compression after microphlebectomy. Of course when new like any support hose not easy to get on but worth it. I ordered second pair I hope their quality control is good and they are the same quality.

Good compression, cute, comfortable, sturdy
I struggle finding compression stockings that I can wear with skirts and don't make me feel elderly (sorry for the folks who are- just sometimes the typical stocking feels nursing home style), but I struggle with varicose veins and have had surgery on one of my legs. These ones feel good quality, nice color (personally I would improve the coloring a bit to be more in style... but nothing is perfect :D)) and they have good compression. ALSO, I have long legs... usually get 32' inseam pants and these I can stretch around and have no problem with.

Disappointed
Disappointed - almost great, but there is a sharp drop off in compression in the thigh area, leaving a distinct bulging of fat that shows under clothing. The bottom portion is comfortable and compressive. I am a size 4, but have lipedema, and these are unfortunately not going to work for wear outside of the house.
