It is a good resource to help you study, but if you will be taking both the LPN and RN like I did (I sat for the LPN when I was partly through RN school), you will only need one of these books, with the LON or the RN, because they are pretty much exactly the same thing, with the exact same questions. The only thing that changes is the perspective… ie. “You are the charge RN just starting your shift and are assigning patients, which patient would you give to the LPN?” vs. “You are an LPN just starting your shift, what patient would the charge RN assign to you?” The questions are worded from different perspectives, but the responses are identical. Don’t buy both books!! Review: DON'T SCRATCH YOUR CODE PEEL IT OFF! - I recently brought the book and thought I had the defective code issues. The problem is that it is not a scratch-off code; you must carefully peel the sticker off and hold it to a light to see the code. It worked perfectly for me. I hope this helps anyone who buys this book in the future.

Excellent book but it did not have the evolve access code
I love the book. It really helps me study. However, I would love to be able to access on evolve. The code was not in the book, I purchased it new to get the hard copy and the code.

DON'T PURCHASE FROM AMAZON
I purchase this book for the main purpose of using the online test bank. The access code within the book is not a scratch off, it peels off. I had to hold the sticker up to the light to see the access code. I entered the access code on the evolve website and it doesn't work. I am passed the return date and now I am stuck with a $50 book and can't access the online test bank. I guess AMAZON is still selling fraudulent items.

The Book did came with an access code . You just have to scratch it gently to reveal the code . Pretty helpful to know about the strategies.
