**Q: Is this flour fine or have some big chunks?**
A: Hello and thank you for your question. This is a fine flour that has been milled to our smallest size. During shipping, some powder may combine due to being packed down and appear to have some clumps, but anything like that will break apart with the slightest pressure. Minimal at most. It is a finely milled flour that mixes easily into baking or cooking recipes. Thank you.

**Q: is this flour from sweet potato or yams**
A: Thank you for getting in touch.  The flour is made from Covington Sweet Potatoes.

**Q: Can you put it in smoothies?**
A: Thank you for your question! At Healthier Way, we primarily use it for baking. However, as we have heard from some of our customers, yes, you can use it in smoothies as it is high in Fiber and Iron so it might be a great addition to boost nutrition. Since it is 100% sweet potato, it adds sweetness and will thicken a smoothie. We recommend adding in small amounts to start as it isn't very soluble so it may be gritty if you add too much.

**Q: Can this flour be used as a substitute for potato starch in baking?**
A: I would not.  The makeup of a sweet potato and a white potato are not the same.  This is dried sweet potato that has been milled into flour.  It will turn things orange-y.  It adds a less neutral -- more distinct -- flavor than potato starch.  If you were going to attempt this, i would do so only in a small test batch first!  Best of luck to you.
