The pepper aftertaste is mild and actually a great taste addition. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Must have good teeth. *by D***G on March 13, 2026* More chewy and harder than other brands and this brand gets stuck in my teeth which is something I normally don’t have an issue with. However, it tastes soooooo good. You get a slightly sweet flavor at first but definitely taste the flavor of the meat. You can’t really detect honey if you didn’t know. But then at the end there’s this nice little spice of pepper. I typically can’t do anything spicy, even black pepper. I have passed up on so many meals because they say there’s no spice yet when I order and taste it it’s too spicy. So I’d say it’s very mild but still there. I had a hard time eating only the serving size because it’s so good. Next time I purchase it I’m going to have to divide it in small baggies because I ate it all in 3 sittings when there’s supposed to be 5 servings per bag.
