The flour quality is really great. At this price the quality is really superb. Have started using the same. Something different if you are used to wheat flour only.

It is on our table every Sunday morning...it is a really good treat for all the family. Easy to make and really nice taste, you can change it every time depending on the ingredients you fancy each time.

This flour cost over £7.00 for the 454g bag which is sufficient to make about 8 small breadcakes so this would be very expensive bread. The flour is undeniably of high-quality, and I am very happy to use it for its health benefits as well. To make it last for longer I mixed some of it with my normal bread making flour to see what it was like. It made my bread much lighter and gave it a very good texture and my family certainly enjoyed the bread that I made. I particularly wanted this flour to experiment with making sourdough bread and it has the qualities to make an excellent sourdough starter so that will be my next task, but I know that it will take at least a week to get the starter ready. This is a great flour but at a high price.

I love trying different flours and this ragi flour is very versatile. I love that you can use it in baking but also as a porridge. You just need to add water to make a dough, batter or porridge as well as any spices or sweeteners of your choice. The 1lb (454g) pack is resealable too.
