WBM Seam Tapes Repair Patch Material Melco T-5500 –Wetsuit/Dry Suit, Scuba – Hot Melt, Iron On

Used the material on my neoprene drysuit to great effect used a medium heat iron with a dry tea towel to cover the ironmend held in place for 20 seconds which is longer than what the instructions say I found this timing to work better with my iron settings as practice proved with great results and no damage to the neoprene whatsoever the repair patches were used to protect the seat of my drysuit after it was damaged a couple of times on our dive boatThe material also is very tough as it's a hard jobTo cut with sharp scissors , I'm over the moon with the job it's done I'm going to get more of it to protect the knees as well, it looks the business

I only wish they would not cut the material to that width, but make it available in sheets twice as wide so it could be cut in an arc successfully to the size wanted. Straight lines are not always suitable! Good otherwise, and went on perfectly after using an iron through a tea towel to perform the deed on a dry suit elbow area that was getting scuffed.

Works a treat Req a little more heat than I expected but does the job sticks to the nylon and covers up damage to the outer nylon of the wetsuitI had damage across the thighs of the wetsuit & Knees from ropes the area around must be in good condition as well to stick down the new patchinstructions a little basic bit more detail would have been good! a good product to save damage on knees and areas that are getting damaged on wetsuits

I used this for repairing my children wetsuits which they had damaged sliding down rocks. Its easy to apply and seems to have done the trick.I used Black Witch for any holes and this material to reinforce and where the neoprene had been damaged by the barnacles.Great product.

Easy to iron on, and as long as you press the corners down with the iron it bonds really well.Use greaseproof paper between the iron and the patch as it will stick to the iron if you don’t.

Knee patches for my son's wetsuit and works really well!
