Great display when your office is wherever you are at
I work remotely, all over the US, and there is not a lot to say about this monitor-- it does what it is supposed to do, well. I was initially worried, because when I received my first one, I tried to open the stand, and it popped right off. Customer service was easy to work with and I got a replacement in short order. No issue two plus years later with the replacement and now have a second one-- again, no issues.I often rent equipment for meetings where everyone needs external monitors that do not block the sightlines between the attendees. My vendor saw mine portable ViewSonic and bought a bunch for their inventory-- again, all good. My only... warning (not a complaint) is that they are, as you would expect adverse to being knocked off desks. They are sturdy in that they continue to function, but the bottom of the facia /frame pops loose and does not pop back in very securely. I dot of hot glue does the trick, but the better fix is probably to knock them off desks in the first place, as they are in no way rated for being dropped from any height.

Love this!
At my home office, I have my main computer display plus 2 external monitors. I travel a lot for work, and I felt really hampered using just the 1 display when traveling. I did a lot of research on which portable monitor to buy and finally landed on the 17 inch version of this one. I couldn't be happier.Set up was instant; just plugged it in and it worked (on a MacBook Pro). I use the USBC to carry both video and power from the laptop, so I only have to bring along 1 cord (although any others needed came with the unit.). My laptop screen is only 13", so the bigger screen is incredibly helpful.I've been using it for about 3 months now, on several different trips. I'm as happy now as I was when I first opened the box. It fits perfectly into my briefcase, and not too heavy, so it doesn't add a lot of weight. The included cover protects the screen great. And even though my main purpose was for traveling, I've discovered this has freed me a little from my desk when I'm at home. Even though I use my laptop in my home office, I pretty much never tried to work anywhere other than the office when I'm home, just because I didn't want to be limited to 1 screen, and moving my big monitors is way too much work. But now, I find myself occasionally working outside if the weather is nice, and it's really liberating! It's plenty bright enough for me to work outside on my porch, which is shaded. The speakers are about what you'd expect, which is not all that great, but certainly fine for zoom meetings. (I typically use the internal speakers on my computer. They're better than these.)I've seen other reviewers complain about the colors. I agree they're not perfect, but after I worked with it in the settings a bit, they got much better than out of the box. Still not perfect, but fine for all my applications.I've also seen a few reviews complaining about the kick-stand. I haven't experienced any issues with it. I really like how conveniently it folds up to put back in my briefcase.Overall, I'm extremely happy with this purchase. I've been recommending it to all my friends.

Great Value, but must calibrate display
I'm using this monitor as an extra display for my 2023 Macbook Pro 16". It works great as a portable display for travel and I use it as an extra monitor when I'm at home, usually tilted all the way down.Out of the box the colors look awful. Out of the box the display looked dark and the viewing angles were rough around the darker images. You will need to edit the contrast/brightness/modes. i used the custom mode, contrast at 80, brightness at 60. Keep in mind that if you are close to the monitor, you will see pixels in objects because it is a large 17" monitor at a 1080p resolution. This is fine for word documents and work. Its workable for gaming, but again the image won't go past 1080p.The monitor does less you pass through charge to your laptop. So you can connect a charger to one usb c on the display, and another cable from the display to the computer. This takes up one usb c spot on your computer that provides power to your laptop. You can also just plug in your computer to power, and have a second cable from the computer to the display for image. I use this second mode because I don't trust 140w going through the display to my laptop, but you can do it.The kickstand is very nice, especially if you are using it at home and want to rest this display at an angle below another monitor. For about $200, you won't find another monitor with a kickstand, two usb c ports, and audio out.

Awesome value and a must have!
I can't believe that I didn't buy these years ago. I used to struggle doing work on just my laptop screen while on travel. Now I have two of these prtable monitors and it makes having documents open while writing emails or other documents so much easier. Not to mention having two portable monitors allows me to use Microsoft Teams easier too in the third screen. It seems like I'm in more phone calls on travel while sharing and reading/writing at the same time. The screens after two trips flying across the country have been durable, easy to use, easy to read with their resolution, and the right size.I highly recommend them.
