It’s super easy to use and very safe as long as you don’t touch anything while it is hot, which is just using common sense. No leaks and no issues. The steamer is compact enough to put on a counter without taking up a ton of space. I appreciate the advice from reviews about using distilled water. I will look into that. This actually cleans your rings that they look new all over again. So easy to use the steamer comes with a cup for the water and the tweezer’s that attach to the back so you can never lose them. Heats up fast if you don’t want to hold the rings set then in the tray that is included and steam away. Just make sure before you use this steamer that the stone is okay to steam clean the list comes with the instructions. It will tell you excellent, poor, good,fair, all what stone to steam on the ones that say poor I put in the tray and only hit the steam a second or two then a second or two then stop and nothing happened, Do not hold them with the tweezer’s directly under the steam!!
