I bought this when I started having problems with my thinking. What I was thinking was not what was coming out of my mouth. I could not even follow a recipe because I would put something in and then totally forget whether I had added that ingredient or not. I would brush my teeth and forget whether I had done it, and I would be right in the middle of a sentence and not only forget what I was about to say, but I would forget what subject I had been talking about. My mind would go blank like someone had just washed a chalkboard. So I bought these to see if they would help. They were easy to take and they did work. But after a week of taking them, I noticed that I had blisters on my tongue and inside my mouth. Then I started itching on my lower back and shoulders, and around my ankles. After another week, suddenly my tongue started burning as if I had scalded it by eating something that was too hot. I suddenly began having intestinal cramps, bloating, gas, and eventually diarrhea. My lips began to swell until they were about 4-5 times their normal size. They split and cracked and peeled until they bled whenever I would lick them. My husband came in from work one morning and asked if he needed to take me to the Urgent Care. My face was swollen and my eyes were swollen past my lids. My upper eyelids were so swollen that I could not even fully open my eyes. Doc put me on Benedryl and I stopped taking the supplements. It took yet another week for the buildup in my body to get worked out of my system. So while I was not outright allergic to it, I did have a "sensitivity" to it that caused a reaction as it built up within my body. So while I like what it did to help my thinking, I can't use it anymore. I hope that what progress I have gained with my thinking won't go back to the way it was after it all gets worked out of my system. But I guess we will see.

I completely disagree with this skeptical review. This brand of Alpha GPC works so much better than other brands I tried before it. I now added Uridine from the same company and my ADD has been completely managed, sharpening my focus so I can work without being constantly distracted by emails and outside noises. This clarity has never happened to me before while I was taking any other supplements. My other family members are taking this too because we all have very demanding jobs as business owners and get depleted easily. Everyone is different when you're talking about brain chemistry. I'd say to the bad reviewers, look at your other supplements and your protein powders. What BCAA's are you supplementing with along with these? Is it a complete profile derived from clean grass fed whey source, or are you messing with estrogen ridden soy? If you're serious, you should get everything you supplement with in line to complement each other, and then you'll see better results with the utilization of this particular formulation from this brand.

I take this before working out and before bed as studies show Alpha GPC & Choline increase HGH levels which is known to prolong lifespans, anti-aging factors and increase muscle mass. This product seemed to be the best deal on Amazon. The ‘bonus offer’ is a cheap plastic pill container and not the luxurious container shown in product image- one star down for false advertisement. Also, read the supplement facts as the standardized amount is 50% GPC. I’ve read other brands are also only 50% but they don’t label it, I’ll give props for this brand for not being entirely misleading.

Maybe I need to try it much longer, because I don't think this supplement is really doing anything for me or Brandy. I would need a brains specialist or a dedicated Doctor to see if there's any kinds of improvements, whether it's for cognitive health, or any physical, arthritic, or muscular debilitating enhancing, that I hoped to see but the bottom line, is brands may make that difference. Try it, but of course taking it on a regular basis is definitely recommended, something I didn't do from the very beginning. It may work for you, but I'll never get this again, need to be apprehensive when doing Google searches, they're in it too, for the money!

LongLifeNutri has fantastic prices, and Alpha GPC is a great supplement which helps enhance my cognition and energy. Also very good for dream recall, I find, if you take it at night. I also very much appreciate LongLifeNutri's responsiveness as a vendor, it's nice to feel like you're connecting with a small business that cares even when the big impersonal Amazon is the middleman.

I bought both, Alpha GPC Choline and Citicoline made by LongLifeNutri. Both of these Choline formulas have been shown to have similar beneficial but perhaps slightly different effects, so I alternate which one I take from week to week. Their effects are long term and can't be measured over a few weeks or even months. The best one can do is buy a product that has been tested, and is from a reputable manufacture, and use it consistently over long term. This brand fits this and also provides the best value for the money. I am pleased with my purchases.

I started late on using it ind of late and was curous because od a question about it by one of Amazon clients. To my surprise thr the vegetarian capsules had a RoTTEN taste while by definition they should have none. Tne inside of the plasic container had a faint smell while it should have none. I checked the expiration date end it was OK, the only question remains is the nature, unknown, of the material used to reduce to 50% ,according to the label 300 mg, a 600mg original material and the nature of the vegetarian plasic used for the capsules. Therefore to play safe t hrew all the capcules in the garbage bin.

They say this doesn't work on everyone but let me tell you my story. I have a TBI. Before I started using GPC, I had no energy, very sluggish thought processes and difficulty getting my thoughts into words. I've had these issues since 1979! But, 5 minutes after taking 2 GPC pills - ALL THAT WAS GONE!! I'M OFF THE COUCH and ACTIVE. AND CLEAR HEADED. I clean my house, go out and run errands, go shopping, visit people. I've been taking them for two months now and they are still just as effective as day one. This is the best kept secret of the century. I HIGHLY recommend this product!! Five stars. But don't skimp when buying these. This brand is working well for me but I personally wouldn't look at any cheaper, though this was the cheapest I found. Because I don't think GPC is regulated. Study it on Google and see what are the ten best companies to purchase from. Then come back and buy these.
