Great Customer Service!!
When I first got the projector it wouldn't work. I contacted customer support and I had to download some software to get it working. They gave me instructions and it was up and working. The projector is very clear. It's like you're looking at a tv. I can't really think you'd get much better than this with a more expensive projector but I'm just a dude with no knowledge of the projector market. Just wanted clear crisp movies that cover my wall. This definitely did that.Recently my projector developed a brown smudge on the image. I asked for help fixing it and showed the problem. They asked for my address and a few days later I had a brand new projector in the mail. I mean not even in a weeks time! I wasn't even asking for a new one!I hardly ever write reviews but I'm so pleased with the customer support that I felt like it was the least I could do. It's just something I feel like only chik Fila still practices. So to the guys behind this product, thank you very much!

Great, while it worked properly.
The picture quality and brightness are very good. HOWEVER, after only a week or so of normal operation, the projector began displaying a picture with faint vertical white lines. The quality picture was ruined by these lines. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt and giving it 4 stars because I think it might have just been a defective projector, and that this problem is not the norm.

Solid performer !
Had to play around within the picture settings to get the best out of the video. Still, not the most vivid picture. Its picture is softer visually all around than other budget projectors ive reviewed. No irregularities like dead pixels, dust or dirt visible. Has the quietest fan and runs the coolest of all ive reviewed. If the silly little speaker in these things means anything to anyone, it is the loudest and clearest. It suffers from focus issues top, bottom and corners like all budget LED projectors, exacerbated by the use of the tilting lens keystone control. Overall though, id say this is the most refined of the budget projectors.Control panel buttons are backlit brightly in blue, and in standby, it is way too bright. May be overpowering to some. Thankfully this crazy blue lighting dims down in run mode.Strangely, the projector doesnt remember the last input when started, defaulting to the menu screen, so youll be using the remote every time you fire it up. Unnecessary, but not a deal breaker for me. The remote is just ok, although youll go a little crazy trying to get the battery cover off. Its not the typical sliding cover. I do have to keep reminding myself this projector is only a couple hundred bucks, and i paid almost that for the Harmony remote in my theater alone.

Weird lines and blue light around edges after only 1 use (EDITED)
Weird lines through entire picture with the first projector then I returned it and had another issue with the replacement projector. Second projector has a rim of blue light around edges after only 1 use.. I will return and pick out a different projector.I'm leaving the above information for context purposes. THAT BEING SAID. The seller worked diligently with me to resolve the issue and even sent me a completely free projector. The picture on these projectors, now they're functioning is crisp and bright even in daylight. The sound is a little rough but that's to be expected to an in-built speaker. Overall, quite the little powerhouse projector and I'm quite happy with the customer service.

Blue "border" colorful vertical lines and occasional dark holes after 3 weeks
It had a fuzzy wide blue border around the image within the first few uses. I thought maybe that was just "normal" for the unit. Then, After about 3 weeks of using it about an hour a day. It developed an vertical yellow line through the right side of the image. The Bluetooth would sometimes refuse to connect to our Bluetooth speaker. The projector it replaced lasted over 4 years before beginning to develop such idiosyncrasies. It's getting returned.UPDATEAILESSOM sent a replacement right away and so far ir seems to not have the same issues. upgraded stars from 1 to 4 if it's still functioning in a few months I'll give it a 5

Image green and burry after 3 hrs of use
(EDIT) after reaching out to the seller they were able to provide me with a firmware update pretty quickly. This solved the issue which was pretty great. So 4 stars for fixing it and quick customer service replies! (Original review) Went up quick, seemed relatively bright enough. But was quickly let down by the image being distorted, color tinted and vertical lines popping up as soon as I powered it on for the second time⦠will be looking for another option

Still affordable, but a big improvement from my last projector
This is my second projector for a budget home theater. Not only is this projector much better than my first model (much brighter and much better resolution), but the Ailessom customer service folks (especially Sara) were super responsive and helpful regarding any questions I had. For example, it appeared the angle-adjustment foot for raising and lowering the front of the projector was missing from my projector. But actually, the foot pops out when a small switch is activated. But rather than just telling me that in an email, it appears that Sara recorded a video showing how to use the foot. She also gave me the remote control code for a universal remote, and answered other questions that got me quickly enjoying the projector. With my old projector, it was incredibly difficult to see the images projected if any curtains in the room were open. With this model, it's still best to pull the curtains on the windows, but if I don't feel like making that extra effort, I can still enjoy the content. As for the resolution, I find it confusing to understand some of the industry jargon, so I just bought this projector based on the good reviews. My reward: I can now clearly see the tiny jersey numbers of my favorite soccer teams and other details that were fuzzy with my last projector.
