AsvineHongdian 6016 Natural Wood Fountain Pen, Iridium Fine Nib Writing Pen with Metal Pen Case

This pen makes me feel much smarter and more upper class than I really am. It is beautiful, the wood seems to be genuine and the symbols on the heavy metal cap have no meaning to me, but look very cool. The pen has a great weight to it that just screams quality. The ink well functions very well, and it writes nicely. This is the first pen I've had the didn't have Bic written on it somewhere, so the fancy tip was an adjustment, but once you get the hang of it its just as easy as a Uni-ball. Great pen and great price, love it.

I always bring this pen with me wherever I'm going. Heavy in the hand capped or posted, not too heavy unposted. I like the weight so I keep it posted but for those worried most of the weight is in the solid cap.Writes well normally and reverse. The converter it comes with is easy to use.

For a pen that costs less than $20, I'm very impressed with the value. First of all, the build quality is super and the design is unique (Chinese characters on the metal pen cap and a beautiful smooth wooden barrel). I like the twist open pen as that helps to ensure the pen is tightly closed (especially for fountain pens). I've chosen to go with the fine nib and the writing experience was quite good (smooth and easy to use even for beginners). I like pens that have a good weight and this pen certainly has the weight (especially with the cap posted). Overall, I give this pen a 9 out of 10.
