Clearly visible and good durability for weather
Sometimes having a large property is not all fun and private, as people may think that large empty section of road is a great place to park their car, for whatever reason. So I went looking for a No Parking / Private Property sign that would be easy to see, easy to install, and hold up in any weather conditions. This one fit the bill and does all of these things. It is large enough, with clear lettering and pictures, for a driver to easily see if from both lanes of a road. It's reflective both in daylight and at night, with a coating that should help it last a few years in the rain and humidity we get.Installation to a wall is trivial - just use the 4 nail holes, one is each corner. In my case, I had to install it to a tree. Since tree trunks are round, I first attached an old piece of 2x12 treated plank. Then I nailed the sign to the plank. The nail holes are too large for commonly used nails, especially too large for finishing nails which most households would have (versus less common nails used for construction or desk building). So he aware of that, if you are a typical homeowner -- you may not have large/thick enough nails (like 6 or 8D) laying around the house. Alternatively, you can use typical wood screws if you are attaching to a tree or fence, etc.Well, it's been a few weeks and no one is parking there anymore. Rrrrrr...scary sign is working.
