THESE REALLY WORK!! We had an horrific smell coming from a cupboard under the floor. We think something has maybe died under there like a mouse or something. We couldn't get to it to find out and the smell was getting so bad we could not sit in the living room.. tried a bunch of things and these were a last attempt. Hung them around the living room and within a couple of hours the smell was gone! We have since used them in a coat cupboard and the kitchen for cooking smells. 100% best purchase

had a musky smell in the shoe cupboard and though id give these a go, (i put 2 in there) considering there are a mix of trainers slippers walking boots wellies smart shoes I wasn't confident that this little pouch would work. within 48 hours the smell was almost completely gone by the end of the week it was completely gone! they are so easy to use. I needed up putting 1 in every closet. I have had them for over 4 months now and they are still fresh very good quality. still cant belive they worked that well

Works effectively - second batch bought to replace old bags which still look good but after two years it must have stopped working

I don’t usually write reviews but I just had to with this item. I have been having a lot of trouble with mice and have been catching them in humane traps. One of them must have died in my utility room and the smell was absolutely awful. Where it died was completely inaccessible and there was no way I could get to it. I read about these bags and thought I would give them a try. I’m so glad I did as they got rid of the smell in a day. They come in two sizes and I used one of the larger ones on top of the work surface and managed to put two of the slim size ones actually in the gaps under the sink where the pipe work comes in and where the mice obviously have a run. I can’t believe they could work so quickly but by the end of the day the putrid smell had gone. If you want to get rid of a smell I can’t recommend them enough.

I wasn't sure what to expect. I have a pet and sometimes around her food area needs more than just a scrub down. So I bought a multi pack of these charcoal bags. Once I realized how well it worked on the pet food area I began putting them in every nook and cranny to keep any mildew or odor at bay. The humidity here is very high. It helps keep damp areas dry. Because you get so many in a package you are able to have replacements available once they have lost their ability to absorb odor and moisture. I use in bathrooms, garage, spare rooms, behind or under sofa, food storage, shoe organizers, etc.

Effective for absorbing moisture inside the so many shoes, no bad smells when opening our shoes cabinet

I bought the 12-pack with 6-150s and 6-...50s? I got them because no matter how hard i tried to keep the litter box scooped, the ammonia smell still lingered. I put two 150s in the bathroom ...where I keep the box... 2 in my living room ...1 in the kitchen ...and 1 in my bedroom. I've got a small one in each trash can and rotate them in footwear as i rotate them on my feet. (slippers->shoes) My mother, who has a very sensitive nose(and brought the cat scent to my attention ...i guess i was used to it?), even appreciated them so much that she bought some for herself. She helps take care of horses and tracks their smells around with her in the car, i guess. These are DEFINITELY worth the cost, IMO. Particularly when they don't appear to just cover up the smells by putting more chemicals and/or 'better' scents into the air, but actually pull them out of the air and eliminate them(but not their sources, of course. heh). I'd read 1 or 2 reviews about a chemical smell with these things. I did not experience that at all. There was NO scent to them, as far as i could tell. All they did in my place was remove those smells that were already there. In fact ...i live in an apartment complex and this year there were a couple of people that decided it wouldn't be a problem for anyone if they smoked fish out in front of our building. I tended to leave the windows open as i went to work for the day and when i got home, my apartment reeked. Granted, smoked salmon isn't the worst smell in the world, IMO, but it can linger and set into upholstery/clothing/carpet and not everybody likes it. Anyhow, i closed the windows and a couple hours later BAM! No smoked fish smell. I started closing my windows before i left for work and it is no longer stuffy ...when not allowing fresh air to circulate... when i get home either, so i really think i am going to appreciate these this winter, as well. The next test is how long they last. So far, so good. I haven't moved them in weeks and they still seem to be working just as well as they were at the first. If they lose their effectiveness in another month(as has been noted in reviews), i plan to set them on the window sill for a dose of UV radiation to 'recharge'(also noted). I'll try to remember to update this review with the results at the time. All told, so far, this appears to be one of the best purchases i've ever made.
