I don't normally write reviews, but this knife impressed the 'bleep' out of me. The way it fits in the palm, the heft and craftsmanship gives you the impression it was made specially for you.It's literally razor sharp out of the box. It cuts so effortlessly, you don't have to apply much pressure. The knife does all the work. I've only used it in the kitchen. All I can report is that if it's food or packaging, it's no problem for it. Using it is a joy.Definitely a fan. Highly recommend.

I was a bit skeptical about a knife at this price. I fully expected to be disappointed with this purchase. However, this was not the case. This is an excellent knife that has become my go to knife from everything from opening Amazon Boxes to slicing up dinner. It comes very sharp out of the box and only required a bit of touch up on he stone. It has a great hand feel, very robust and excellent grip feel. I was totally impressed. This is a heavy knife, I like that. I feel this gives better control and feel to any knife. I collect knives I have over 300 from the past 40 years and this knife has now seen more use in the past 2 months than many of the knives I've owned for many years and costing far more. If you are looking for a quality heavy duty utility knife to keep handy this one will do he job well. Also, the leather sheath that comes with it is plain simple and so far very sturdy. I love this product and highly recommend it.

Over the years I have been disappointed with every kitchen knife I purchased. Most would not hold an edge, and the angle of the cutting edge was too great to provide the sharpness I sought. I purchased four different Huusk knives, Viking style Butcher knife 8” Japan Chef knife, 3” Damascus Paring knife, and 12” sharpener rod, and I am very pleased with all four. I will caution you that these knives are straight razor sharp so for the first few weeks handle them carefully until you get the hang of using them. A quick run over the steel after a few uses maintains the edges. If you are looking for a ’Sharp’ knife for your kitchen, I recommend these knives.

Super sharp, which i like but the handle feels a bit awkward. I think it works better cutting up meats rather than veggies.

Stunningly beautiful craftsmanship! My husband loves using this in thr kitchen. The leather tooled sheath is a wonderful design as well.

Nice knife but I had to sharpen it. Very disappointed in how dull it came. I can shave with it now but haven't used it... not sure if the sharp edge I put on it will stay

First and foremost this is a really cool looking knife. Feels comfortable in the hand and has good weight to it. It has a full Tang and a smooth wood handle. It comes in a nicely packaged box with plastic wrap. Pretty sharp right out of the box so be careful with that, it does have a plastic blade point cover for safety. The sheath is real leather and has a buttoned strap to hold in the blade. It also has a belt loop on the back to attach to your belt. The lanyard hole at the end of the handle is a good addition as well. This knife would be great for any rustic or fantasy chef.
