I previously owned a Phillips Sonicare and liked the simplicity of this one (and cost). I don't need or want 5 different cleaning modes so this 1 button model appealed to me. Compare to the Sonicare, this one is pretty weak. And the replacement brush heads are much more expensive. 2 Heads cost almost as much as a new toothbrush.
