Quality product. Even better warranty.
I finally got one after trying my hand on charcoal BBQ with a Smokey Joe that I got for free. Charcoal BBQ is worth the little bit of extra work. It takes a little longer to get the charcoals hot enough even with a chimney, and cleanup takes a minute to empty ash from the bowl into the ash catcher underneath. It's definitely easier than the classic model and it's worth the extra cost. The material, especially the bowl, seems high quality and a nice finish. The assembly manual was confusing for the leg assembly, but the BILT app helped. I didn't have to look up a Youtube video. What I was most impressed with is their customer service. My first time using it, the lid slid off the bottom bowl as I was closing it. It fell and hit a corner of my concrete stair. It left a very noticeable chip and I was kicking myself for not being more careful. After searching for ways to prevent rust from the spot, I read that someone had their parts replaced for free during the warranty period. I thought I would give it a try by sending them an email. They got back to me for a photo and shipping address and promptly shipped a replacement lid to my house free of charge. They won me for life.

Great BBQ!
This was a much anticipated purchase. The colour is superb and the size of the grille is just right. Was not easy to assemble push pins in the legs - plus they are poorly made. And the height is just a bit too short for me. Overall a bit clankly but works really well.

Works
This grill was fairly easy to assemble, it has everything you need, and it cooks great.Pros:Gorgeous finish. My green grill has such a deep color that you'd almost lose it in a forest. Absolutely gorgeous. Looks great on my lawn. All the accessories. The "premium" version has a temperature-control grate that doubles as an ash catcher bucket, a handle with hooks for grill tools, two grates for both your fuel and cooking, an adjustable damper on top to control smoke/temperate, a temperature prob in the lid, a heat-safe handle... did I mention the lid has a hook so you can store it on the lip of the grill while you work? This is a truly brilliant setup.Grate ideas. The cooking grate has flip-open panels so you can stick something down and adjust coals as necessary. It also has handles for carrying, which double as hangers so you can hang the grate on the side of the grill while you prep the coals. It's genius.Cons:The temperature-control damper and ash catcher bucket only does an okay job clearing spent embers. You have to do a lot of back-and-forth adjustment to get embers to fall into the bucket, which can lead to extensive work if you're trying to cool off a grill fast. This system really works best when you're grilling early in the day, so the coal has plenty of time to burn down before you put the grill away. If you wanted to do a big grill later in the day, you'd basically have to leave the grill overnight, which could be a fire hazard - or else you'd need to douse your coal, which is a different topic. Bottom line: If you mostly intend to grill at midday for summer parties, this is a wonderful all-in-one system. If you grill mostly later in the evening to night, the ash bucket is just an accessory to prevent buildup.Questionable:Gas vs Wood vs Pellets vs Charcoal. Which is right for you? In short I'd put it like this. Charcoal is by far the cheapest way to get started. My grill, plus all the coal I'll need all year, still costs much less than a gas equivalent. Gas might be a superior grill a few years from now when I want to invest, but for now, charcoal works and I personally love the flavor. Pellets have probably outmoded wood entirely for most people, but pellet and wood grills lead to a lot of smoke, so they tend to be unsuitable for cooking in a dense urban area (if they allow grills at all!). Charcoal omits less smoke than most wood or pellet grills, and combined with its cheap startup costs, makes it an ideal solution for someone like me who only has a 2-person household and only barbecues maybe once a month.Overall:Highly recommended. Easy to setup, gorgeous to look at, and a pleasure to operate... so long as I'm cooking earlier in the day.

Amazing BBQ! Wanted one for years, glad I took the dive.
Absolutely love this kettle grill.I have a Kamado Joe Big Joe - cost me $2500 and is a blast to smoke and roast in. Problem with that is there's a lot of prep time, and takes forever to cool off. Also cleanup is annoying. This grill on the other hand is PERFECT.Pros:1. PORTABILITY and WEIGHT - This thing is light, and can be carried by one person up and down deck stairs without a hitch. If you have a big enough car you can even clean out the inside and shove it in the trunk for a bbq in the park or at a friend's who doesn't have a bbq. Takes up little real estate and fits near anywhere in my backyard.2. PRICE - Picked this up for under $300 with a cover off amazon including tax. It was shipped to me in 2 days. Can't get better than that.3. WEBER - It's a Weber. Quality and warranty are top notch. This will last me years and years.4. ACCESSORIES - There is a multitude of accessories for this grill, all within easily affordable prices.5. GRILL SPACE - For what you pay you get a massive grill surface (22") to use and can easily refill charcoal without taking it off the grill grate through the 2 side openings that fold up and down on your grill grate.6. SETUP - This was so easy to put togethor. 30 minutes without a hitch. Read the instructions and pay attention to the orientation of parts and you'll be set!Cons1. METAL - While I knew this going into the purchase, the metal is very thin and doesn't retain heat well. Also the metal on the legs is very thin and flimsy - again something I was aware of. Thankfully everything is either rust proof or coated so rust won't be an issue for many years. Time will tell how well this cooks in the winter as the cold will make it so you need more fuel to get to high temps for pizzas and such.2. CHARCOAL GRATE - Metal grate width is very wide so smaller lump charcoal bits go straight down. You'll want to use charcoal briquettes to minimize wasted fuel. This is also soemthing I knew.Overall! This is an amazing grill. The two gripes I went in knowing about so it's not Weber's fault, and I can't dock a star for it as it's just their own design. For what you pay for, this should be in EVERYONE'S home.
