I bought this filter because it’s time to replace the current one. It lasted six months although I believe it can take longer if you don’t have pets like I do. It was easy to install, no need to call your mom for help.I just like Air Doctor in general. They have reliable service and am happy with the product.

This did turn out to be a genuine air doctor 3000 carbon filter with the pre-filter attached. It came in the factory cardboard box from the manufacturer. These filters works so well. First time having to replace it in six months with a family of six and a big hairy dog who sheds! I vacuum the pre filter every month or two to prolong the life of the filter. Super easy to replace as well. Will be buying on auto every 6 months!

This product is so great. I normally am the first person in the Fall to get a cold. But I don't get colds like most people. It usually begins in my head goes to my chest, and then it goes into my lungs, and I wheeze and cough for weeks and even months. I bought this is May. I didn't notice much during the months when I had the windows open, but as soon I began closing the windows in the Fall, I noticed that the light on the front began changing a lot to yellow, and sometimes even red when I cook. I now see how much toxicity was building up in my apt that was irritating my respiratory system and creating the environment for illness to arise. This air cleaner has made it possible for me to live without bronchitis and pneumonia. I love it. It runs 24/7/365. It is not expensive and it doesn't raise my electric bill. I will never be without it again. It is giving me my life back.
