I have been using this dosing pump for about 6 months now on my reef tank to dose kalkwasser. I am very happy with it so far. It is a small, quiet pump that does a great job of delivering a precise amount of kalkwasser to my tank on a continuous basis.If you are looking for a reliable and accurate dosing pump for your reef tank, then I highly recommend this pump.

This doser is horrible! I bought it to help maintain my small tank while we were on vacation. And it disconnected from my WiFi the morning we left! I have fiber internet and the router is three feet from my tank! Dont waste your money!

Set was simple, primed the pump, checked calibration. Was way off. Calibrate function was easy to use, ran through it, rechecked, spot on. So far this pump is a winner!Using it for dosing my reef tank, as a reference

I’ve had my fair share of pumps over the years, including several from Kamoer that have worked like a charm. This X1 Pro, though? It’s been nothing but trouble from the get-go. I bought it late September to run my calcium reactor, hoping for the same reliable performance as my other Kamoer models. Unfortunately, it’s been one headache after another.First issue was overheating. I had to rig up a small fan just to keep it cool enough to run, which isn’t what I expected from a supposedly high-quality pump. Then, just a week in, the hose sprung a leak. After some digging, I realized it wasn’t lubricated properly. I shelled out another $30 for a replacement hose, hoping that would solve things.Fast forward a few more weeks, and today I noticed a grinding noise. Unplugged it, plugged it back in—same grinding sound followed by dead silence. The motor wouldn’t turn, even with the app cranked to max. Tried turning it manually, but it’s completely unresponsive.What’s really frustrating is that the pump died right after the return window closed. It’s disappointing because I’ve had five other Kamoer pumps in my system for dosing, and they’ve been rock-solid. This X1 Pro? A total lemon.

Have been running it last 6 months or so no problems just replaced tubing is all

I spent all night reading suggestions and ways to get this thing to work.There are tons of reviews and sadly most I saw were not good.The majority had the same issue. It won't connect to wifi and that's a killer as it won't work unless it's connected. I would advise the potential buyer to steer clear. It's frustrating and will probably be unsuccessful. Returning it today after trying everything I read from Coralvue and others. I really needed this to work as I had everything ready to start dosing Kalkawasser. Now I need to find another pump.I will raise my recommendation to a three after I got another router to which the pump connected after a couple of tries. The pump still has kinks in the app and I would not give it anything more than a three rating at this point. The pump itself seems very good. I calibrated it and it seems to be spot on after the calibration.It hangs up on settings and nothing short of restarting my phone will get it working.Let's see how it holds up longterm...

The pump itself has been working great but connecting to the wifi was really hard. Spent a whole day trying and even ordered a replacement pump thinking something was wrong with it. In the end I had to go into my router settings and trying several different 2.4ghz wifi networks untill it work. Overall great product with an overly difficult wifi set-up.

Great little dosing pump from kamoer. In app calibration. Empty dosing container alarms. Adjustable continuous flow for calcium reactor or metered doses by the hour for 2 part, or manual dosing for on the spot adjustments. All with the click of a button through an app on your favorite smart device.
