These vitamin D3 supplements work very well! I was diagnosed with low vitamin D, and my doctor recommended getting a supplement with vitamin K included to help with absorbing the vitamin D. I have felt my energy levels increase (nothing crazy, just feel a bit more alert) and I redrew my labs a few months later after taking daily-- my levels were normal! Smaller and easy to swallow, no weird aftertaste or smell, and I can take it without food to avoid an upset stomach. Great brand, good price!

I have been buying Metagenics Vitamin D3 + K for over 4 years now, according to the Amazon stat it says I've bought it 24 times just from here. It is a good product.I like that it comes in a brown glass bottle. It also has shrink wrap around the top and also a seal on top of the bottle to protect it from tampering.There is a small round desiccant canister in the bottle to keep them from sticking together.The vitamin is a small gel cap and is easy to swallow. It smells good and is a light yellow color. I take one every day. (10,000 IU)I have noticed that before taking this my hair hardly grew any, but since I began taking this I have to trim it regularly, so apparently it gives you better hair.It also seems like I don't catch as many "bugs" that go around in the winter time and if I do it is milder and doesn't last as long.It is a little on the expensive side, but it is a good product.It also has vitamin k, so it optimizes both vitamins for the best benefits. If you are looking for Vitamin D3 this is a good one to try.

Its a high quality pill with right proportions if D3 and MK7.Many Ds out there but not with the right composition.

I opened my bottle and was met with a very strong citrus smell which also left a taste on the pill. I was a bit worried since I had taken the pill. I talked with the company and here’s what I was told:“ Yes. The smell is coming from the desiccant in the bottle. This is used to absorb moisture. You may take the pills and put them in a different container or simply remove the desiccant. The product itself may vary in color and texture from batch to batch.Is it synthetic chemicals creating the smell? That’s quite unhealthy. I order these because of quality but if it’s now expected that they have synthetic chemicals then that’s not something I want.JThe smell is from essential oils.”I don’t quite understand the need for the smell at all. It’s quite unnecessary.

A good choice

I have been very low in vitamin D for many years now and finally I started to feel symptoms from it. After only 2 months of taking this supplement daily with a meal I was able to bring my vitamin D levels from a 17 to a 76! This is a highly absorbable vitamin and have recommended it all of my friends and family that suffer from vitamin D deficiency.
