The Storm Shell SS-65 Outdoor TV Enclosure is a solid choice for protecting a 65" TV outdoors. Assembly was manageable with easy-to-follow instructions, though having a sawhorse or an extra pair of hands is helpful for holding the panels in place. The hook works well, allowing the TV to be positioned evenly and moved in and out of the enclosure effortlessly. The cover takes a bit of practice to ensure a watertight seal, but it performs excellently—no leaks during California’s strongest rainstorms. The latches are good quality, but you’ll need different locks if you want to secure the TV. Overall, I’m very pleased with the performance, though it does feel a bit overpriced. Still, given the quality and protection, it’s worth the investment.

Excellent product if you want to place an outdoor TV in your backyard, the material is great. However, the instructions were horrible and not very legible.

A bit pricey for being a plastic mold, plus having to assemble the entire thing yourself. Works as intended though. Outdoor TV is still working after several severe thunderstorms. This was the second one I’ve assembled, so it only took about an hour. First one took closer to 2 hours.

I have a tv that is by my pool. The tv is directly in the elements so I needed something to protect it. I tried the cheaper canvas covers first. They work, but it was such a hassle getting them on and off properly to ensure they don’t leak so I decided to splurge and bought this cover. We get a lot more use out of our TV now because it has gotten so much easier to uncover and cover. This thing has stood up to multiple downpours and the Florida heat. It’s pricey, but in my opinion it’s worth the investment.

For this price & cost it should be nearly ready to go out of the box IMO! Functional but not great directions and probably about 4-5 hours to install. Mounting cabinet does lineup with studs BUT the tv bracket does not fit all four bolts on studs. You Will need very strong anchors for any hollow walls. The TV once on bracket makes for a tight fit and or need to lift a bit to go into the cabinet if you want to swing out the arm. Also cable, plug access is on the bottom of the cabinet so if power plug is above or behind the bracket not ideal you would have to cut a hole in to the box. Mine is above and simply have to unplug..Am satisfied with the construction and should do the job to protect from weather as box and cover look very nice upon completion.
