Do I need to take them out before the rinse and heated dry cycle?** A: You can drop the soap nuts bag in the utensil rack (not the detergent dispenser) and run the dishwasher normally through the rinse( and heated dry cycle). Since we are focusing on eco-friendly products we also recommend to turn off dry heat to save money and the environment. This also lets you re-use the soap nuts more times. **Q: Are these deshelled?** A: They do not seem to be and I was slightly put off by the amount of shell and pieces that arrived. My initial thought was that if they were deshelled, they certainly included all the waste in the final product and weight. They also did not come with with any directions for use or tips so hopefully you already know how to use them. In my opinion, not a terrifically selected product, but what did arrive certainly works as it should once you pick through it. **Q: How many bags does this come with?** A: The 125 Loads one comes with one bag while the 500 Loads one is packaged with 4 bags. If your bags are disintegrating too quick, you can also tie them up in a handkerchief and use them. **Q: the nuts have a lot of sappy stuff on them that bled through the bags. Will it stain my clothes? Is this normal? Never had soap nuts with this stuff.** A: They won't stain your clothes. They are the soap ingredient of the soap nuts. This is not normal that this is leaking through the bags as this means the package shipment passed through high moisture area or rain. They are absolutely amazing! Way better than I anticipated! I gently simmered them in a pot on the stove to make a liquid cleanser. I simmered them for about a half hour. Then took them off the burner and let them cool to almost room temperature. Then put them through a stainless steel mesh strainer, after that strained them through the muselin bag that came with the soap nuts, to make sure all the bits came out. Then used the liquid in a small load of laundry, I used about 1/4 cup, it did amazingly! Clothes came out clean and then when I put my clothes through the dryer, they came out soft and fluffy. I used the liquid as shampoo too and loved it! No greasy feel at all, my hair feels clean and soft!
