Took about 20 minutes to put together. The instructions were pretty easy to follow. The unit seems sturdy. Many of the other units I saw had much smaller openings which seems like a problem. This has two good sized openings and the two sides spin independently which is nice. Dual chambers are convenient so that you can fill one side and let it “cook” while you start filling the other side.If you want to avoid bad smells, don’t put animal products in it, just plant matter. It’s also a good idea to add “brown” material like paper and dried leaves. I add paper from our shredder (which isn’t really recyclable anyway) and that seems to work well. Only had it going a couple of weeks so don’t have a “fully cooked” batch yet but it seems to be well on its way.

Easy assembly. Didn't love the hue of green (too oddly unnatural vivid not like grass green), but worse that it faded from sun almost immediately. Literally faded to unsightly dull washed out version of the ghastly green in under two weeks (and mine isn't even in full sun the way the seller promo videos insisted setting it up in full sun). But it works great. Doors could seal and slide better but they are easy to use. Biggest complaint is that the locking mechanism that keeps the chamber from moving freely almost failed on the left side after barely beginning to use that side after the right chamber was full. The one on the right is fine and can't understand why the one on the left isn't going to hold up much longer. Only got it about 6 months or so ago and began using that side about a month ago.

It’s a little tough to assemble, but it’s worth the effort. But… it works well. I’m glad I bought it.

I took me and a male friend that is not handy at all 2 hours to assemble. Only a few screws it snaps together. Looking at the on line video from a customer on how to assemble wash helpful. I had to pause at each stage, but it looks good and easy to use. It reminds me of the spinning wheel on the PRice is Right, fun to use and relatively simple to assembel.Lori

The product may be good, but assembly instruction is very very bad. Make sure to check and see if all parts are included to assemble. I retured my first order because couple of parts were missing ( N & O).

Easy to assemble. Have had for two summers now, holds one average family's composting items. If you are looking for a rotating composter to make soil amendments for your garden, this is recommended.

I wouldn’t say this was easy to put together. I am good with my hands and putting things together. I opened it, got a bit overwhelmed at all the parts. Took a break. Started again and got about 1/3 of the way done. Another break. Went at it again. Once I got about 3/4 done, it went fast. I do think if you pay attention to the directions carefully, you can do it. Lots of parts, but they go together well and product seems sturdy and easy to turn. Excited to see what it produces.

It works awesome I m 76 and i put it together in no time love it working great even moved it a couple of times stayed togather so buy with confidents ,,,,,but i should have got solid black it getting to much attention lol I had to spray my bright green parts black ,, so it’s not so show off lol to many people asking what it was , it looks so good I was afraid it might get stolen ,,people i did not know asking what it that ,,,,
