Works well, not disappointed
Installed in a tank to supply a cabin water. Works well. Shuts off 100% and doesn't allow pass-through when closed. High quality metal parts.

Not long enough to get a fitting on once it’s installed
The construction seems very sturdy. The only issue is that the threaded area doesn’t have enough remaining to put a plumbing fitting onto. It probably isn’t bad if the wall of the container is about an eighth of an inch thick.

Installation is easy
Easy install and appears to be good quality. All stainless steel. But it does have a down side. No adjustment on the float. After installation the unit leaks out from the front. I will not shut off. Had to replace it with one from my local hardware store. Will be returning as I don't have time to wait for a replacement.

Good quality
Seems like it should work great as a float valve for our maple syrup tank. Haven't installed it yet.

Leaks by until almost the entire float is submerged
Looks like a quality float. Does not work like a quality float. Takes a lot of pressure to shut off water flow. Half of the float needs to be submerged to slow flow and still leaks by when float it 100% submerged. You need at least 5” of water depth to close. Still leaks by.
