French tips look so easy to do in videos but on yourself it’s a lot more difficult at first. You have to do the right angle otherwise you’ll come out with blobs or messiness. Don’t blame the product for user error, practice over & over until you get the perfeft line that you’re looking for. As you can see in my picture I didn’t really get it right until the last few nails so really take your time to get adjusted to how you want it before you give up. Definitely recommend this product, great value for the price especially since it comes with 2 extra jelly pieces. Cleans very easily with alcohol & my tips were able to get pretty far in without damaging the jelly.

There's definitely a learning curve on using this - and you have to apply polish for each nail...not a dealbreaker, by any means - but be prepared to spend a few evenings getting good at it. You have to kind of roll (from left to right) to get a regular line. If you just want the pointy look, like in the videos, it's easy enough - but for a regular French, again - learning curve. Still easier than using tape though, so it's a winner.

I’ve tried using these for doing French manicures but I think because my nails aren’t long enough it doesn’t work. HOWEVER, these work very well with stamping plates and I would recommend it for that only personally because I couldn’t get it to work for a French manicure

Still learning how this works but a test run seemed to go pretty smoothly with swiping on some polish, pushing a nail tip in, and then wiping it clean after. Not sure how it would do if I did more rounds and the polish had more time to dry but that's for later. Also when you dip, you do get some under the nail. It makes sense but I didn't really see anyone mention it on here.

I did this hastily so it could easily be neater, but I LOVE how easy it was to achieve a French tip with this stamp. I didn’t realize it came with two replacement pieces so you really get 4 stampers for this price. They worked easier than I anticipated!
