Great showerhead
Purchased this to replace an aging and leaking Hansgrohe model that came with my house. The Clubmaster handshower comes with three spray settings: standard needle, pulsating, and champagne. Unlike poorly made shower heads that put out the spray as just a ring or circle, the Clubmaster puts out a full spray filling in the entire circle. The pulsating spray is great when you want a massage or need extra power to clean those personal spaces. I don't use the Champagne spray as it seems pointless to me.My handshower came with a 2.5 GPM flow restrictor that greatly decreased performance. Using a small screwdriver or needle nose pliers, it was easy to remove and get the full power of the shower head. At full blast it runs around 5 GPM. I don't turn the water pressure on very high and am happy with 3 to 4 GPM.I connected my handshower to a Grohe 28 145 000 79-Inch Duralife Metal Hand Shower Hose. The Grohe metal hose is much better than the comparable Hansgrohe model. The Grohe is all metal and about 10 inches longer (it makes a big difference). The connector ends are knurled so you can grip them better than the smooth finish on the Hansgrohe. If you don't understand now, you will if you try to remove the hose with wet hands or after the connection gets a little stuck with age.

Feels substantial, don't expect a massage, though
I bought this in hopes it would provide a "shower massage" effect, like my old, cheap plastic handshower, but be better made. It is better made, the chrome plating on the plastic is thick, it feels substantial, but not too heavy to use. It looks very nice. It was hard to rotate my old one, to adjust the spray pattern, because there was nothing to grip. A lot of the new ones have a large, obnoxious metal tab, so that if you brace it under your arm to soap up, it jabs you. This one doesn't have that, but the way it's designed makes it easy to grab and adjust, without that tab. But this Hansgrohe Clubmaster 3-Jet Handshower does not really "massage". There is a sharp narrow spray, which is intended to be the "massage", but isn't, and a nice, powerful shower spray, which is what I use almost all the time, and then a very anemic "rain" effect, which I don't use. If the sharp spray actually "massaged" like my cheap old shower massage, I'd be so happy with this, but as is, I'm still looking for that perfect handshower.

We replaced a WaterPic with this unit - WOW! Didn't know what we were missing. Absolutely the best shower head available in the USA

Fantastic handheld
If you're looking for a hand held shower, this it it. The Hansgrohe club master handheld is only second to the Hansgrohe clubmaster shower head. Both awesome products that I have been happy to recommend for probably 30 years now. Little hint: take out the water restrictor parts.

Plastic, not metal.
I ordered this hand-shower because of the description that did say that this hand-shower was manufactured using metal. That along with the price for just the hand-shower, because it does not come with either a hose or a holding bracket, did lead me to believe that this item had to be metal and not plastic.But it is not. It is manufactured entirely out of plastic that has a chrome finish on it to simulate a metal finish. Other well known companies manufacture plastic 3 to 5 jet hand-showers for around 1/4 of what the price is for this unit, and they do include a 60" hose and wall holder. The item I received is priced at $112.00+ but is only about a $10.00 to $15.00 value.

No water pressure! It dribbles.

Not how it used to be
Had a similar one installed about a decade ago that broke from dropping. The replacements I found were all weak in their water output; regulations. This one included even though it claims a higher output. A bit disappointed. Quality-wise is similar to previous models imo.

Works well
12 plus years ago remodeled our bathroom with a walk in shower using this shower head. After hard use including assisting our elderly mothers with showering it needed replacement. I was so pleased to find the same shower head available as I love the design and functionality
