Could be a little better. Good Value.
In spite of it's smaller diameter, it works as good as the Dow/Dupont/Filmtec RO membrane. The diameter of this actual membrane itself is 1.67" where the Filmtec is about 1.74". This one is over a 1/16" smaller. There's only 10 layers of membrane compared to Filmtec's 15 (thinner) layers. Waste/Brine water ratio is slightly worse with this one compared to the Filmtec. Does an OK job. Rejection rate is still high after 2 days of use at 95% and that's bypassing the post carbon filter- directly from the RO membrane housing. So far, unacceptable, but I'll give it more time.
