TRUGLO TruPoint Xtreme Universal Shotgun Sights with Luminescent Alignment Level and Elevation Ramp for Ribbed Shotgun

Bought these to mount on my turkey barrel to be able to get the center of the shot pattern to be a point of aim. Mounted them in just a few minutes on a fully camouflage Mossberg rib. Mossberg has a pretty wide rib, so it did not require any of the included spacers. The front sight was snug, almost "snapped" into place, but they do fit and the design squeezes the rib when you tighten it, so it won't leave set screw gouges like some other sights do. They look great, fit great, and now have windage and elevation adjustments so these will be a game changer!

My benelli shot ridiculously high straight from the factory. Probably wouldn’t matter too much for wing shooting but I specifically bought it for turkey hunting so I needed a sight with a higher front post. This one worked really well and left to right adjustment is simple. I would note that this front post doesn’t have adjustability up and down and it does sit rather high above the rib. That said, it worked perfect for me. If your shotgun patterns high, I’d definitely recommend this.

I attempted for two hours to mount this sight to my Browning BPS, going through every possible one of the supplied cheap plastic shims. I simply could not fully secure the rear adjustable sight and was unable to do the same with the front sight. Only when I fitted the sights to my Mossberg 835 slide-action sight in which I did not need any of the - again - cheap and thin plastic shims would the sights grip. A thoroughly disappointing product.

Easy to install with the right tool. I ordered a sight pusher. Happy with them so far. Will update if necessary

Product is well made As for fit just follow the directions The spacers for most variances are included Along with the tools needed Only negative is the screws are metric

Works fine on my shotgun. Not sure why there's so little coverage of it on the internet. It is a difficult install if your doing it by yourself.

Mod. 870 Remington... Let me first state: I am very critical of and particular when it comes to addressing issues. "Patience" is key here. I was able to get them to mount and set on the ribbing as needed after about 1.5 hours of trying various ways to get the sights to center and secured properly on the ribbing. However these parts are small and very frustrating to handle. As trying as it was to finally get them mounted I am pleased with the end result for now. Usage over a little time may sway this mans opinion. They look nice, bright visuals, appear to be of good quality and serve my purpose. I am in agreement with some previous comments. These could have had a better design which would have improved securing them to the rib and shortened the installation. Form and function go hand in hand as far as I am concerned. This item lacked some form. "Patience" ---- Just glad I don't install these for a living... lol

Ok these optics are nice and work well... However.... Installation nightmare! I attempted to install these on a Remington 870... At first this seemed impossible, the way the sight attachment mechanism is designed is completely flawed. Because it is "universal" there is some play in the attachment. The way these work is the top attachment sits on the rib and two clamps clamp the bottom of the rib when it is tightened down. Heres where the problem is the clamp pieces do not extend long enough under the rib so when they begin to feel pressure from the screws they pry out away from the rib then the whole assembly pops off. This took some modification to get to work. First I had to mill out the under side of the rear mount because the "universal" slot doesn't fit a 870 rib at least not mine. Then I had to go to Ace fine 1.7mm micro screws. I had to drill through the two lower clamps to fit my screw and then countersink it since it wasn't long enough to reach through, then milled out the other side to hold the micro nut. This was a painful process but they worked out ok got a turkey this season with them.
