Can anyone advise me on the voltage and watt for this product? I live in Singapore and am considering buying a voltage converter to use this product.

It will work for Singapore since you are at 230V but 50 Hz. USA is 110V and 60 Hz. Singapore takes a type G plug adaptor. USA uses Type A plug. So you need a Type A to Type G plug adapter. Don't worry about the watts. If you can use a hairdryer in your socket you can use this clipper too. You will not need a voltage converter.

I have a 70lbs. black lab, owned an Oster, it worked once don't want to spend $$ for a one time use. Is this brand worth the $$ for my size dog?

This is a great trimmer. As a dog groom I can tell you one, stop abusing your lab, two, no it’s not good for a dog that size unless you want to going back and forth charging it. I use these trimmers for nitpicking around the legs and face and ears. I’ve used this on a full body haircut for a small 12lbs. Dog but even then it was a lot of switches between blade lengths and guard combs.

Is the blade detachable? can you use other blades? tia

The blade is detachable but you can only use wahl replacement blades designed for these clippers. Namely the 5 in 1 but there is also a stand alone #10 blade and a #40 blade. You can not use A5 blades with this clipper.

Can Oster blades be used on these clippers?

These are proprietary blades made only for this clipper. No other brand of blade will fit this. If you want interchangeable blades for your clipper, use an A5 type of clipper which takes any make of A5 blades. Maximum choice there. However, this clipper makes it easy to do detail work.
