Insectfarm Rare Framed Real Archduke Butterfly Collection Display Insect Taxidermy

I was expecting for this butterfly to come in a clear case, not with a white background. Be aware that the butterfly is sitting on some white paper. The smell coming from it is unbelievably bad. I had purchased this to give as a gift to a friend, but after letting it air out for a few days it still stinks so bad that I don't think I can give it to anyone. I am scared to bring it in the house because it smells like chemicals.

My daughter loves butterflies, so this was an instant hit. Pretty simple concept - exotic butterfly in a frame. That's it. Not too complicated. The thing she liked about it is that it is unlike any butterfly in the Midwest, so it is a bit of a show piece for her. Nicely presented.

Love the butterfly but it is very small. The picture made it look like the frame was bigger. Very deceptive.

Unbearable smell!!! The smell is so bad that I got a headache and its still in my house. Must be some hardcore chemicals that can’t be healthy... a pity because it’s so beautiful. The smell makes it impossible to display it anywhere
