Great for bath salts
I ordered this salt to make bath salts for my husband for Christmas and it is great! I got the 5 lb bag of coarse salt. I happened to get lucky and caught it on a sale, but I think it’s a good value for how much you get. I use a mixture of sea salt, dead sea salt, and epsom salt for my bath salts - mixed in equal proportions - and my husband loves it. And I was able to make a ton of it for him. I divided it up into about half a dozen small mason jars with different scents, and still had a gallon ziploc bag filled with unscented salt left over. And I didn’t even use the whole bag of dead sea salt. I picked the coarse grain salt since my other two salts were medium and fine grain, so this salt added a little extra texture to my mix, which I like. The salt dissolves well in the bath and I really haven’t had any problems with it. My husband really enjoys the bath salts I make for him, so as long as he likes the finished product I’m happy with the ingredients. What I really like about this bag of salt is that it’s resealable, and the zipper seal actually works well. So many bags say they are resealable, but the zipper breaks immediately. The bag is a nice heavyweight plastic as well, so I don’t feel like I’m going to rip it apart if I’m not careful. Overall, I’m very happy with this salt, and I plan on purchasing again next time I make bath salts.

Very happy!
I'm going through some stress right now which causes my eczema to flare up. I'm normally able to keep my eczema in check with my skincare routine, but if I slip for a couple of days it'll creep up on me and it's back to topical steroids(which I'm trying so hard to avoid). I've used San Francisco Salt Company products in the past, so when I came across this on my search for something to relieve my eczema flare up before going back to topical steroids I figured I'd give it a shot.I've been soaking in this for 10-15 minutes at a time once or twice per day for the last 4 days, and it's really helped soothe my skin. I'm not constantly itchy. I had a particularly bad patch on my Achilles tendon and this has improved it so much. I'll soak in the tub and then apply a moisturizing cream and bandage over the really bad spots, and I've seen probably a 60% improvement in just a matter of days. Before this I was suffering for over a week with bloody, oozing eczema patches and extremely intense itching. If you have eczema you know that awful, bone-deep itch I'm talking about. No amount of scratching alleviates the itch, it's the worst. And of course, scratching just makes your skin worse. Thankfully, it's almost like this helps dry it up while soothing the itch.Overall, I'm very happy with this and will continue to purchase it. Only wish I could put it on subscribe and save so I could be sure that I'd never be without it.

A bit pricey but worth it for me.
Stronger than Epsom salt in regards to paid relief, a little goes a long way. Extremely relaxing, I would not suggest using a cup of these salts the first time unless you are in extreme pain and can go directly to bed after your soak. I used a cup of these salts in my first soak with them ... I was so limp, relaxed, that I almost couldn't get out of the tub. I made it to my bed and collapsed for the night. I came to the next morning when my alarm was blaring.

the olive oil makes it stick together and also good for the skin
This sea salt is worth a try. I tried it about a year ago and still using it. It exfoliates the skin and remove deep down dirt and dark spots and circles with continued use, it also rejuvenates and tightens the skin, makes skin feel and look smooth as silk. I'm committed to using it regularly. I receive so many compliments on my skin, not just facial but all over. It's part of my livelyhood,a permanent regimen. As a suggestion, mix preferred amount of sea salt with a small amount of pure olive oil to exfoliate face and body, the olive oil makes it stick together and also good for the skin. Also with the olive oil ,you may not need a moisturizer after exfoliant. You WILL see and feel a difference fter the first use.

OK at best
I like taking a salt bath when I get the chance and this was my first time with Dead Sea salt. The smell of the dry salt is repulsive to me but it’s fine when it’s in the water. I didn’t really feel much different after taking my bath with it and I used quite a bit because it was my first bath after having a baby so I really wanted to soak and get some soothing benefits from it. It’s nice, a little on the pricey side especially since it’s not manufactured, it’s just part of the earth, but if it helps dry skin and more than its worth giving it a shot. My baths are far and few between right now but maybe if used frequently you would notice a difference.

A Nice Big Bag of Bath Salt!
This is exactly what I wanted after spending some time hanging out in a salt grotto. What can I say about a five pound bag of salt? It was't as big as I thought, and I use about a cup at a time. The quality is good--I like the coarse stuff but it dissolves quickly in hot water. I add a drop or two of essential oil to the bath, but I prefer to add it myself rather than get scented salt. (Although it's fine without!) I didn't think this had a bunch of other stuff mixed into the salt like I saw in a couple reviews. It was pretty clean. I will reorder when I run out.
