Best option as an athlete
Context: I’m very active and workout hard 3-4 days of the week. I’ve been using this body wash consistently for the last year. Pros: Skin feels clean, soft, and the soap works especially well for areas where I’m prone to breakouts or where I have KP. I rarely suffer from breakouts now, and if I do, it’s a problem blemish and never a full breakout. I never smell like BO during workouts, even without deodorant (when I’ve forgotten to put it on). Additionally, my KP is significantly less than before my use. Cons: The smell is a little clinical - not bad, but not pleasant. I can smell it a bit during workouts but I much prefer that over BO. The soap also does not lather at all, so there’s a learning curve in using this cleanser over other soaps. Due to the bottle design, the last bit of soap usually needs to be forced out of the bottle by removing the pump which can be annoying. The bottle lasts me about one month (1-2 showers a day, 5-7 pumps per shower) which is actually pretty reasonable, but a bottle that lathers more may have better longevity. Overall value for me has been very good. I can’t find this product locally so it’s nice that it’s usually about $9-$10/bottle per month. If you suffer from KP, body acne, or persistent BO, this is a great option to try.

Effective body wash
This is the best body wash for me that I have found after trying so many. It gently exfoliates because of the salicylic acid but isn’t drying which is huge since I have mature skin and I live in the desert. Most SA washes either have too little SA or are too drying. This prevents clogged pores as well as reduces body odor. The only issue is you have to get past the fact that it doesn’t foam. It cleans better than most foaming body washes and does way more so I adjusted my expectations. I hope they never stop making it.

No lather, but it does reduce my skin reactions to other products
I'm still kind of on the fence about this product. Immediately you notice that it doesn't lather. I know that when I first started using it, I used way more than I needed to but I couldn't tell if it was cleaning me or not so I kept adding more for each area I washed. Also, as I've gotten older, my skin is starting to get a bit reactive to some things, after I hit my mid-40's, my hair went curly. Because of this, I frequently try different hair products, shampoos, conditioners, stylers & treatments. In doing this, I've found that a lot of products will cause itching and breakouts along my jawline, sides of my face, neck & chest. So now, I don't use this product on my entire body, just on my "problem areas". As my last step in my shower routine: after I rinse my hair for the last time, I use this body wash to clean all the areas (from the chest up, except my hair & scalp) that might have come into contact with my hair products. Then I rinse it off and it seems to be helping with the reactivity in those areas. Making sure to rinse any hair products off my body and face seems to be helping with the itching and reducing the breakouts. Plus it should make this product last longer since I'm not using it everywhere, just where I really need it. I'll update if I notice any other changes as I continue to use it.

A Gentle Acne Body Wash That ACTUALLY Works (Even on My Face!)
As someone who's battled acne on my chest and back for years, I've tried countless body washes claiming to help, often with disappointing results or harsh side effects. This Cetaphil Body Wash has been a game-changer in my skincare routine, and I couldn't be happier with the results! First off, the generous bottle size is fantastic; you get a lot of product, which means it lasts a long while, making it an excellent value. But beyond the quantity, it's the quality. Within just a few weeks of consistent use, I noticed a significant reduction in breakouts on my chest and back. My skin started to look much clearer and felt noticeably smoother. What sets this body wash apart for me is its gentleness. Most acne treatments tend to be drying or irritating, especially on sensitive skin. Because this felt so mild on my body, I decided to take a chance and try it on my face, and I'm so glad I did! It didn't strip my skin or leave it feeling tight and dry at all. Instead, it helped calm existing breakouts and prevent new ones, resulting in a much clearer and healthier-looking complexion overall. No Residue: It rinses off cleanly, leaving no film or residue behind. Subtle Scent: The scent is light and fresh, barely noticeable, which is perfect if you're sensitive to strong fragrances. If you're struggling with body acne, facial breakouts, or simply looking for a reliable and gentle cleanser to maintain clear skin, I highly recommend trying this Cetaphil Body Wash. It's become a staple in my routine.

Could be better.
I have been dealing with my warm weather shoulder/chest/back acne and bought this because I hate having this issue. Is it working? Not really, it’s been two weeks and has hardly changed the acne that’s there. May have slowed progression of new acne SOME. Does it foam? Absolutely not. It’s like rubbing lotion on your body. Hard to use a net rag because it doesn’t spread via rag well due to lack of foam. Does it smell? It’s fragrance free.

Works Great!
This cleanser is for sensitive, acne prone skin; fragrances and "lathery" chemicals can cause irritation and breakouts, which is why this cleanser doesn't have any. If it's smells medicinal, that's because it literally is(for acne), lol, but I'll take that over the grapefruit scents that smell like sour mop water. It's medicated to fight acne while still being gentle on the skin, but I don't smell much of anything with this. If you can tolerate essential oils, a couple drops of lavender and tea tree oil in this cleanser smell wonderful and they also have antibacterial properties so they can also help fight acne as well. As for the lather(or lack of), I like that it feels like a lotion instead and I mostly use this as an in-shower/bath mask for my face and body. Just slather it on(doesn't take a lot either), let sit for a couple minutes and rinse off. I then wash from the neck down with my favorite Dove Go body wash(lavender and chamomile). Then after the shower/bath, I use a thin layer of a peroxide cream on affected areas and my skin is looking and feeling great. For $10 this is a great value. If I need a moisturizer for face and body, CeraVe Lightweight lotion works great for that. Edit about a month or two later: My skin is looking great, much better than it did before I found this!

EXCELLENT for off-label uses
I hated this product at first. It doesn't lather. The description is misleading in calling it a body wash. For its intended use, it kinda sucks. However, this is the lowest cost/oz for a 2% salicylic acid (SA) product that I've come across, so I tried to think of other ways of using it. Turns out... 1) Makes a GREAT 1st step in a double cleanse for makeup removal. Provides gentle short-contact SA exfoliation. (It can sting around eyes so use caution). 2) Makes an AMAZING leg shave cream. Same idea with gentle short-contact SA exfoliation. 3) Makes a TERRIFIC foot mask. Same idea. For how well this product works for these unintended uses, at such a low price point for 2% SA, I give it 5 stars.

smells like vomit, doesn't distribute
This shower cream smells like vomit. I knew it was supposed to be unscented. But I didn't know the scent was going to smell like vomit and make me want to vomit. Does everyone else's smell like this or did I just get a bad batch? Perhaps it is expired. Also, I can't get it to spread. While in the shower, you can't rub it between your palms with the water running. It's very clump-like in consistency and just slips out of your palm before you can even bring your hands together. It was not advertised to be able to lather, but it doesn't even spread. So, I've no idea how people are distributing it over their bodies. I tried adding it to a loofah to hopefully be able to get it on my skin, but it sat on the loofah and didn't come off on my skin. I was just scratching the loofah across my body like it had nothing on it. I tried it on a washcloth, but the washcloth just absorbed the product and it did not come off on my body. I did smell the product later when I got into bed, because the vomit smell lingers. So, I guess I managed to get some on me. It was like getting a thick body butter and trying to lotion yourself while you are in the shower. This is a little bit like clay or dough. I noticed it sticks to the shower floor in clumps rather than being washed down like normal body wash. It must not be very water soluble. I plan to return it as I can't use it. I noticed some of it sticking to the side of the bottle when I took it out of the shower. This makes no sense to me. Why wouldn't it rinse off? Maybe you can try to put it on like lotion before you get into the shower, and then just rinse it off once you're in there.

Buen producto
