I own a couple of this style fuel jug and thought they were all about the same... NOT! My other jugs have 2 handles built in and seem easy to handle and pour from. I can top off a small tank without issue but this jug makes a mess every time I start and stop pouring.My advice is to spend a few more dollars and get a better one. I had to use a sanding block to sand the tops of both openings smooth/flat and grease the seals to get them to not leak... that wasn't to bad. Both of the lids don't seem to match the threads on the jug well. The top will tighten down but the air vent is easy to turn past the threads like it is stripped. Wrapping some electrical tape on the threads helped.The biggest problem is the hose won't bend without kinking. You have to hold the jug upside down to get gas to flow and while you are flipping it over to get the hose straight fuel is dumping out the air vent. So now I turn it upside down to pour then have to open the air vent. I'm tired of spilling fuel so I ordered a better hose and bender..... should have spent more money in the beginning.
