Great for the outdoorsman
I use these lanterns for both camping and ice fishing. There’s so much to like about these lanterns. Firstly, they are inexpensive, but also very bright and seem to be fairly good quality. I love that they can be charged using the rechargeable battery, or use disposable batteries. It’s nice to have the option to save money on batteries by charging, but also have the option to use disposable batteries if needed, like when camping and you can’t recharge them. They’re very versatile. You can hang them from the folding hook on the botttom, sit them upright on a table, use the magnet under the hood of your vehicle, or prop it up with the metal stand. It also has a radiant 360° light, as well as a light on top to point downward when hanging. They designed these lanterns to have so many uses. I like that they are also small and lightweight, so they are easy to pack. These lanterns a great tool for any outdoorsman, backyard mechanic, or really anybody just to keep around in case of emergency. The best bang for your buck lantern I’ve found

Nice size, plenty of light!
I love the performance of the unit but one of the reasons that I bought it was that it is a hybrid lamp. There is one large rechargeable battery in the battery compartment which is removable and can be replaced with three AA batteries. I especially like this since the rechargeable battery is only good for about two hours and well, you never know what a situation might present. A good addition to my flashlight/lantern supply which puts out 300 lumens and is easy to hang in two ways, a hook and the handles that rotate upward when the main light is opened. There are also three magnets on the bottom for attachment to a metal surface. Pretty amazing set and a great value.

Five Stars... for what they are. Please read.
I paid $20 for a 4-pack in 2024, so keep that in mind. For $5 a pop, these are a fantastic deal for a NON-heavy duty, indoor, non-adjustable light source. Tghe Streamlight Seige is a superior product, however it would get expensive to have a bunch all over the house and/or as hand outs. PROS - other than price is the INCLUDED 18650 battery. The 18650s are Chinese made so we'll see how they hold up. The 18650 is also removable! So dead batteries can be quickly swapped. Will also run on AA. The light is very bright (also a CON). Easy to operate, as you just pull it open. Handles, hooks and magnets put it where you want. CONS - Brightness not adjustable. It's on or off. It's bright. So you have to keep opening and closing them vs. being able to adjust it to low. NOT waterproof. I would not take these outside. Again, $5/ea.

PERFECT for night riding
I drive my ebike to work and more often then not I’m riding in the dark, on the road with cars (there are no sidewalks). So to combat going to the spiritual plane early I’ve absolutely decked my bike out with lights. - The problem with that is most lights require batteries which are very expensive in the long run, so I bought these to replace the battery only lanterns I have and so far these are 100x better than the battery only lanterns! - Not only did I get these 2 for $16 there are flashing red lights on top of the lantern feature!!! It’s so bright and draws so much attention which is definitely my goal. - The lantern light will only last 2 hours which is a bit short but I don’t live too far, but I’ll most likely have to charge it once a day (womp womp ik) But I love the fact that you can use regular batteries in a pinch. - I would definitely recommend just having these either for camping, emergencys, for flash lights in general, these things are USEFUL!!!!! And bright. I’m tempted to buy 3 more packs and gift some to my family! Whoever thought of these genuinely needs a raise ! Absolutely perfect for what I need. I’m so glad I took a chance on these.

Bright and handy
Great value and work perfectly for campsites or around the house and backyard. The magnets in the base are handy to attach to metal surfaces, and the handles and rope hook are equally versatile. I find the charging to take a little longer than I like through the lantern so I just charge the individual batteries in my Cloud Defensive Li-Ion charger and it works great. I really like the dual-fuel aspect too. The red strobe is not very bright or useful but it's a nice extra.

Bright. USB rechargeable
Never again to replace batteries twice a year. No parts to fall off, dropping the batteries at a most inconvenient moment. No more pealing the duct tape off of the part that falls off to replace the batteries. USB rechargeable! I have enough gizmos that charge via USB, I have cables, chargers, and backup rechargers galore. Rechargeable is good, but not having to take batteries out to recharge them is better. Plug the device in; when light turns green, unplug. I no longer need a flashlight to find the batteries I hadn't put back in the lantern. It comes with a really short USB cable that I've tucked away in my electronics drawer on the off chance I lose every other USB cable in the house. Bright enough to read by. Lantern turns on automatically when opened. Several ways to hang it up. A button switches between a flashlight and two red modes, one flashing SOS, the other flashing fast enough to make my eyes hurt. A steady red would be better. Compact and fairly light, making it quite useful for a go bag. Large enough that it won't slip to the bottom and make one empty the bag to find it. Yes, there is the option to use AA batteries. But I'm more likely to carry around another USB recharger than a pack of batteries. Should I end up in a situation where there is no way to recharge, and someone conveniently has AA batteries, I have that option. You never know.

Awesome lights
These are great lights to have on hand for power outages. They stay charged for quite a while, but check them before storm season.
