Can I use these if the tv is not in front of me?

You have to be looking at the tv. My tv is at the foot of my bed on a stand so if I lay almost flat, I see the screen. I think these are great!!

It is fixed at 90 degrees. Husband loves them

Can you wear regular glasses with corrective lenses under these ?

Yes, I have worn drugstore reading glasses under them. It is a little cumbersome, but small reading glasses work fine. Just tried them over my full sized tri-focals and they fit, but I wouldn't recomend using them with bi or tri focals.

can you use glasses for computer or tablet

Haven't tried using them for working on a computer or tablet ... but I would think YES on a tablet (about the size of a book) ... not so much on a laptop computer.
