Solid Product, Easy to Use (Coupling Warning)
I just received this in the mail. All comments regarding quality of construction appear true. If you read over the comments regarding the Lincoln 1134, you will see a few reviews discussing the coupler (piece that fits over the zirc). The 1133 I received has the coupling that is tightened such that I can't loosen it to fit over a zirc with just my fingers. There are a couple very good reviews for the 1134 that should apply to this gun as well. Tonight I'll attempt to loosen with some channel locks and vice grips (covered to avoid tool marks). If it works well and I can loosen without damage I will upgrade my rating. ADDENDUM (15 OCT 12) The coupling warning is only a warning to the extent that you need to take a few minutes to figure out how to loosen it. Once done this grease gun works great. The hand grip pump is easy to use and does not require significant grip strength. Even if you have smaller hands this should work well for you. The part of the handle that moves is that portion that fits into your palm, therefore, your fingers don't actually have to fit around the handle. With one hand hold the blue tube, with the other push/squeeze the top portion of the handle. No leaks, except for minor overflow on the zirc. Be prepared with paper towels or a rag and no mess, no fuss.

Does it’s job well
Gets the job done without needing both hands. Exactly what I need for solo repairs and maintenance.

Heavy Duty
Impressed with the robustness and quality of this product. I have used it to grease my snow blower. So my experience with this product is limited. The grease coupler works perfectly, no leakage, no issues releasing from the zerk fitting. I considered purchasing one of those expensive couplers. No need, for my purposes, simplicity is best.

best I've found
My father has an old Lincoln brand lever pump grease gun. It was always great to use in the garage. When in the market for a grease gun myself, I decided that Lincoln seemed the way to go. Good products. One hassle of the level style was pumping it against your chest while holding the fitting in place. A pistol grip seemed to be the answer to that problem, so I picked this model. Dare I say, this gun is even better than my father's old Lincoln. I love it! I purchased an extra hose to add on to make it easier to use and this gun now can't be beat! Easy to fill, easy to pump, and appears to be very well made and durable. I have no complaints. It's the best grease gun I've seen that's newer than 30 years. I fully expect my son to be impressed with this very Lincoln grease gun.

pumps grease
has a good plunger which follows the grease in the cartridge without letting any by the plunger just make sure you get the plunger into the back end of the grease cartridge takes some slight effort to get plunger to pop into the cartridge

High quality, easy to use
This feels very substantial. It weighs probably 3-4 pounds loaded and every piece of it is solid. I had never used a grease gun before and the directions were not entirely great in my opinion. They seem suggest you need to take apart the whole gun to load it, particularly the whole spring mechanism and all that. It's actually very intuitive if you just understand the plunger pushes the grease out the other end. Uncap your new grease cartridge, insert, prime and pump. Voila. I did appreciate the application instructions because I didn't know how to use a grease gun on a joint, so if you are new, refer to the Lincoln manual as many operator's manuals for machines requiring grease just say things like "apply 1 to two pumps of grease to joint" without telling you how to do that. I am pretty sure this is the only grease gun I'll own in my lifetime.

Buyer beware!
Looks like I was a victim also. See the post about the product being a Chinese knock-off of a Lincoln product. Bought this product in 2015. Used one time after receiving product. Did work, but plunger was difficult to operate. My unit has the same markings indicated in the previous post, although the box did have "Lincoln" printed on it. Added a new tube of grease today (3 years after initial purchase, but the grease gun had only been used the one time). Plunger was extremely difficult to close. Would never release grease...except around the plunger shaft at the base of the unit. Ruined a pair of jeans and a pair of shoes. Wish me luck in getting a replacement unit! Will let you know what I learn. Follow-up - I called Lincoln Tech Support. They were helpful. I was told that the product has a one year warranty, from the date of purchase. I mentioned the post suggesting that the product may not have been a Lincoln product. However, the rep said that it did sound to be a legitimate product of theirs based on what I said. Some of these products are manufactured in India. He did mention that there are YouTube videos about the product that might be helpful. Final review - 5 stars. Product works fine. My operator error. If I had watched the YouTube video, my problem would not have occurred. I was forcing the plunger closed, when all that was necessary was to release and push in. I did need to bleed the air with the hex head bolt, but only a little air released...no grease....before it worked.

We owned and operated a full-service heating oil / gasoline / diesel fuel business for over fifty years. We had trucks and other equipment, which required frequent service, lubrication - including frequent greasing. We always used Lincoln grease guns and they seemed to last forever! The only reason I am buying this new one is that I want to give my Son one, as a gift! The grease gun arrived earlier than promised, in perfect condition and it is exactly as shown in the advertisement. Thank you again, Amazon. Gary Nephew

Was looking for a quality grease gun that wouldn’t break the bank and this was it. Used it a couple times so far and it’s been perfect. Highly recommend.

When I got this grease gun, the grease wouldn't go through. After looking at posts explaining the hose might be clogged, I disassembled it to realize one side seems to have a ball valve. The valve has to go on the gun side but was mounted on the adapter side. One the hose was reverted, everything works as advertised. Overall, this is a very sturdy and well built tool. A very good value for the price compared to other options in-store.
