For fans or model horse collectors
I've watched the Witcher series, but have collected model horses since I was a toddler. Poseable horses are hard to come by, most are toys, and most are not well done. This model (Black Friesian version of Roach) is an overall accurate equine, and has glorious details, both in horse body and in tack. He's sized to go well with most 6" action figures (dust off those LOTR guys and give them a new mount), and is the same scale as Breyer's Classic series 1:12 scale. Roach has great articulation in the legs, minimal in head and neck, but it allows for some fun photography, whether you take your collectibles out in the wild or do a tabletop studio diorama or green screen. Older kids will find this a fun model too (tiny ones will just break it). Look up some horse photos before you go posing him though. All of the photos I've seen so far have been posed in (gasp, the horror) ways horses don't actually work. I did not get The Witcher himself, as he 1. Doesn't look so much like Henry Cavill 2. does not sit well on the horse (going by reviews and photos).

Don’t know anything about the show. Bought it for an art student who wants to learn how to draw horses in different poses, so it works well for that.

Purchased and sent directly to a friend, so i have not personally examined it, but the recipient is pleased. The articulation is a plus, as are the fine details. The small size for this price is perhaps questionable, but this is a brand name collectable for a very popular series.

Great product
Figure quality is great, great value for money (it is McFarlane after all), detail is really good for an action figure and not a model, size is 7". Overall I'm really happy, especially since it's season 2 Netflix Geralt which my friend loves. Definitely a gift I'm happy to give. My item came from a 3rd party and the packaging was immaculate and done with care. Really happy with this purchase.

Awesome Geralt figurine!!
Was totally worth the price I originally paid for it, I noticed it is on sale now but it is worth adding to your collection! So glad I got this, and it looks great with the rest of my collection of fantasy figurines!! The Witcher figurine does look a lot like Henry Cavill, aka Geralt of Rivia! If you're a fan of the Netflix TV series (mostly because Henry Cavill did a fantastic portrayal of Geralt, and ...he really carried the show.) but that's a whole other topic lol You should get this!!

They finally got Henry's face right!
After a terrible Superman and Season 1 Geralt, McF finally hits the nail on Cavill's head likeness. 3rd time's the charm. Great figure overall, and fits well on the horse. Taking 1 star away for the flaccid weapons. These are collector figures; we're not going to die from slightly sturdier plastic stabbing our fingers accidentally.
