I have combination skin that borders on oily. It absorbs well and doesn't leave me looking like a grease ball. I even use it as a final step (toner/essence, serum, moisturizer, suncream). When I wear make-up, I still use it as a thin layer before moving onto primer.I'm african-american, and it doesn't leave a white cast. That's hard to find. I prefer to maintain my natural complexion and rarely wear foundation or anything else that covers up the skin of my face -- when I do, it is light-coverage like a BB cream.This sunscreen leaves my skin reddish and oily-looking -- two friends even commented on it. At first I thought maybe I was adding too much moisture, stacking a moisturizing sunscreen on top of my regular moisturizer, but I tried it both with and without another moisturizer. No difference. I tried using it for several days in a row, thinking my skin might adjust to it. No difference. I currently use and love two other KICHO products so it makes me sad this one doesn't work for me.This product might be better for those with skin less finicky than mine, or who wear more makeup than I do. ### ⭐⭐ Greasy and pills/balls up. It also pilled on me like crazy, which I at first attributed to having applied too many skincare layers on my face underneath, including essence, serum, moisturizer. I stopped applying both serums and moisturizers under this, and it still pilled no matter what. Based on the many glowing reviews, I'm wondering if I possibly got a defective batch because I absolutely hate using this.
