I was a little apprehensive purchasing this butter bell because I was not accustomed to keeping butter out of the refrigerator 24/7. Well now that I've had it for a few months I can say that I totally LOVE it! It is so nice to have fresh spreadable butter at my fingertips. It does take a little dedication to clean and set the butter into the bell but it's worth it. I never had any issues with the butter falling out and I change the water every day or two. I definitely recommend it.

ha ha a little humor. all jokes aside, this is a great little butter crock. At first I didn't understand how it could keep butter fresh until I see the butter stands in the water. Works great. butter stays soft and ready to use. great purchase and would recommend to anyone who uses butter frequently.

A beautiful and functional ornament for the kitchen. This is a classic and well constructed piece with good aesthetics. It is large enough to hold about one stick of butter. It is used in conjunction with water in the base which help to preserve the butter - so make sure you don’t skip this step. We leave it on our counter and the butter has perfect softness and freshness, and we typically will keep it about one week on the counter without any issues.

C'est bien ce que j'attendais : la cloche à beurre comme chez mes grand'parents. Plus besoin de se battre avec, il est toujours prêt à se faire tartiner. Je mets un peu de sel dans l'eau et/ou une goutte d'huile essentielle bactéricide au choix (qu'importe, elles le sont toutes!). Comme ça, si j'oublie de changer l'eau, pas de problème d'hygiène.
