It's not at all a good thing . Ok , better not put this in your back pockets where you could seat on it because it's plastic made ... so I put 4 stars on the quality of material ... but sincerely , people using these kind of cable shutter release are normally pretty delicate people that do have a decent camera case. Don't hesitate on it . It's cheap but that does the job really well. Just be gentle to unlock the hold button because if you do it too quickly, it may trigger another photo. That's the only down but we get quickly used to it. Now it does not happen to me so frequently . One time by week it happens to me to trigger by error but other shutter releases I seen have also this particularity , even my Sony one if I remember correctly. Have fun.
